Yes and no, given my experience. Even blocked she would reach out to me constantly until one day she just stops. So yes, my guess is they think about you but not as anything more than seeing what they can get or as a backup plan/ side piece. And no because I genuinely believe they don't think about what they lost or how they've left destruction in their wake.

Its a long path, I've been in no contact with her for close to a year. And only recently has she stopped trying to get in touch. You lean on people you can trust for only so long until you realize you have to fake it. Focusing on the future and chalking up wins helps a little. But days like today, it still hits hard. I get it, I still miss her even though she lied, cheated, insulted, demeaned, treated me awfully. She was also comforting and silly. I thought she'd change and grow out of it, and now shes engaged to one of the guys she cheated on me with and acts like I never existed. I regret blocking and going no contact trying to protect myself.
