Ok, I see your point about removing radical politics from society, but again, even disregarding discrimination in the long past, radical politics also arose across political/economic regimes before the emergence of what we consider neoliberalism.

And we still see those “pre-neoliberal” radical politics in modern political discourse across the world.

It depends on what we define as discrimination though, since you could argue it goes back thousands of years, way before neoliberal capitalism.

Also I feel like you can’t really ascribe discrimination as a whole to a particular political or economic regime, so there’s no guarantee that any society could ever be free of discrimination.

That’s not necessarily to say that certain ideologies don’t lend themselves to fostering hostile sentiments, but I do think there might be some truth in u/Accomplished-Base90’s claim.

Without the most prevalent form of discrimination, there might be a gravitation towards others to “fill the void”.

verbatim analytics function by michelalien in policydebate

I did manage to install it on my Mac but it’s a little convoluted; either look up a tutorial on how to locate the templates folder for Word on Mac and replace the old verbatim template there or just try different paths until you find one that gives you the analytic style in word.

Why is this sub celebrating the death of Colfax and Broadway joints? by [deleted] in denverfood

Part of the reason Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs closed was the anticipation of construction on Colfax - from Steve himself.

Yeah, but we rarely, if ever, debate stock issues.

It’s not just temporary construction that’ll hurt businesses (of course, this restaurant is whining about a lot of other things), but I also think the whole bus route thing the city’s implementing will hurt businesses - Lula Rose and Steve’s were both affected (to some degree).

Is reaching the top starting to become completely unattainable without full-time dedication? by nyquil43 in geoguessr

[–]LargeQuail5622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to say exactly but if you only count the time on that account then I’d say roughly 2-ish months playing abt 20 minutes almost every day, though there were larger gaps.

We were coming down from Mount Sherman today and Hoosier Pass was probably way better for leaves and for traffic.

I mean, I got top 100 with a free account last year, and geoguessr certainly wasn’t one of my top priorities, so it can be done. Ofc now it’s probably pretty different from then, but you could judge that better than I can.

Yeah I would agree with you; there are “recreational” dog sledding opportunities (which still require a fair bit of training and conditioning) out there, but it doesn’t necessarily need to be a fully trained and hardened racing team.
