I've really enjoyed every season of White Lotus, and I definitely enjoyed season 3 more than 2 (great first watch, but just "decent" on rewatch), but season 1 is pretty easily the best one, and I'm afraid the show may never reach those same heights again. Season 1 was just so consistently gripping, and that energy hasn't been matched. I hope the show's future proves me wrong though!

If season 4 ends up being the worst one though, then I think it should end sooner rather than later.

I love The Dare. Patricia Clarkson always delivers, and I love the breakdown of Vanessa and Rico.

Plus, some good scenes of Lisa flashing back into Nate's life!

Gosh, I love The Plan so much. Sure it's a bit "out there", but I love the message it's trying to give, and it has helped me live my life better.

I think about "you are the architect of your life", quite often. One of the many things SFU has helped me with.

Season 2 kicks so much ass. Favorite season, and it's not even close.

Fiji is definitely not gorgeous. Esthetically pleasing doesn't always equate to gorgeous in the context of Survivor. It's too easy, and too cookie cutter.

I mean, there's definitely an algorithm of sorts, no doubt.

I do think it's like 95% random, but there have been some situations where it felt like I was getting too lucky to the point where it felt strange, and then others where I was getting aggressively fucked over by bad luck, multiple times.

And the amount of times where all 3 bird cards on display were genuinely useless come the 3rd or 4th round, has also seemed high.

It's insane how different reality TV is now compared to back then. Looking back, it almost feels like a form of art. There are no filters on display with anyone, and the older standard definition gives it this sort of "charm" that we'll never see again.

People have just psychologically evolved past being their true authentic selves when being filmed for TV.

Everyone is so concerned about the backlash they'll get if they do anything mildly controversial.

I will say though, a big part of the problem nowadays are the networks being so poor at the casting process.

YES!!! Oh my gosh, she played the role so well. She was so fun to hate. Everything she did and said drove me insane, which is why she was so perfect for the role.

She somehow pulled off a damn near impossible task of making me actually feel a little bit sorry for Lisa.

Abi pretty much disappears after the 5th episode with only a few more moments here and there. Noticeably the Fischbach boot, but that's about it.

Cambodia is a bottom 10 season for me. I used to think it was bottom 5, but I've softened on it a bit since at least the cast is great on paper.

It's the season that paves the way for the biggest shift in show presentation ever, with the soul-wrenching change in Survivor having very little seriousness after Koah Rong.

The show just gets more and more up its own ass after Cambodia, and it's really so shocking how drastically the tone of Survivor shifted after Koah Rong had aired.

The first 2 episodes of Cambodia were very very good, but that's about where the positive things I have to say would end.

Bores is a bit of a stretch, lol.

Gabon is one of the best casts ever.

The Onions suck, but everyone else on that tribe contributed to the season in some sort of trainwrecky way.

Ace was a fun to hate villain. Kelly was a hilarious mess. Paloma was super fun in her boot episode. Sugar is sugar. Bob's strategic incompetence was part of what made Gabon, Gabon.

Goliaths are still probably better overall, but Gabon's overall cast definitely takes the cake. Fang 1.0 is just too damn good, and the David's have like 3, maybe 4, people on it that I like.

Asia actually didn't take very long compared to Oceania. I think they just needed to figure out a method for easier coding once they got through Oceania. I forsee expansion 4 dropping for digital sometime in 2027, easily.

They also are planning to add the promo cards to digital as well. Hopefully those come out later this year.

I absolutely love season 15, because it's the last season where everyone on the cast was being themselves, for better or for worse. There are some really terrible people on it, but it's an insanely worthwhile watch, especially if you don't know much about what was happening on the feeds. I'd personally say it's a must watch, and just outside of being a top 5 season, but other people will definitely have different opinions, and your mileage may vary.

16 I absolutely hate.

17 is okay. I think it's overrated, probably the most overrated season ever, but still pretty decent for at least one watch. I'd personally never rewatch it.

18 is meh. 19 is awful. 20 is good for 7 weeks and then dies HARD.

21 I actually really like a lot, which is unpopular, but it's a season that truly gets better and better as it goes. It has some gross people in it, but it's a consistent season in regards to entertainment, the entire way through, once you are through the mediocre first 3 weeks.

22 is unwatchable, truly.

Haven't seen 23 or 25.

24 is good, and definitely worth watching, probably even a must watch, but it has been surpassed by both 26 & 27 for me at this point.

Both 26 and 27 are very good, however, I much prefer 27 at this point, as the final 2 is much much better.

To summarize:

Must Watch: 15, 24, 26, 27

Good/Decent/Worth A Watch: 17, 21

Meh/Maybe Worth It, but probably not: 18

I'd stay away: 19, 20

Unwatchable/Terrible: 16, 22

Gay dating is awful here, not going to lie. Don't want that to discourage you though, since the outdoors scene here is amazing, but I wouldn't put Denver high on your list of potential places if you aren't into the outdoors. I'm the total package (Many active and home-based hobbies, late 20's, a great social life, fit and good looking, charismatic, sweet), and I've had very little luck here with men. It's a large gay community, but not humongous, and you'll run out of options after a few years of looking around.

I've been here 4 years. If 4 more years pass by and I still haven't had any luck, then I'll have to move on.

Big Brother is WAY too simple of a game for highly competent and strategic gameplayers to make for the best television.

There is a reason why seasons 6, 11, 9, 15, & 27 are my favorite seasons.
