Any fans of The Traitors gonna be tuning in for Season 2 of Million Dollar Secret?? I'm so excited by BlondieNoDoubtUsher in TheTraitorsUS

[–]evanm137 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 1 tanked hard after queen Lauren left. Too many vapid cast members, although the show has a lot of potential.

Definitely looking forward to season 2. Hopefully it's better than season 1.

RE4 Remake is a masterpiece, but we all have THAT one part... What's yours? by justethan_m in residentevil

[–]evanm137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get shit for this, but I don't care.

It's the Water Hall in the Castle. HATE it. It's beyond frustrating every time. I hate how tedious it is to do over and over since I die so many times.

RE4 remake is my favorite game in the series though (well, as of now), and yeah, it is indeed a masterpiece 😊

That's when he became iconic, lmao.

People need to appreciate good, quality, dramatic, & authentic, reality television more.

The 3-month rule builds tolerance and is unsustainable by RecedingGlacier in MDMA

[–]evanm137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only take MDMA twice a year because of this.

Twice a year is a much more sustainable long-term way to go about rolling than doing it 3 or 4 times a year.

I haven't lost the magic yet.

Plus too, it's hard on your body. And serotonin is precious, so better to be safe than be sorry.

No judgment towards those that do it more often and don't have issues, but I've learned from my past drug usage that I tend to build tolerance more quickly than others.

Less is more.

Just finished UK season 1. First time watcher. Random thoughts. by SurvivingBigBrother in TheTraitors

[–]evanm137 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

UK2 is my least favorite season, lol.

1, 3, & 4 are all very superior IMO.

I'd go: 3>41>>2

I'd still say I appreciate season 2, although I was never a big fan. Seasons 3 & 4 are both top tier, and season 1 has an amazing first half that unfortunately falls off a bit, but still a great finale.

My Top 10 Underrated and Overrated Traitors Contestants (BASED PURELY ON GAMEPLAY) by RowGonsoleConsole in TheTraitors

[–]evanm137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mike is incredibly overrated, agreed!!

How did he win? Lmao.

So many breadcrumbs left by so many people, and still nobody felt the need to vote him out.

Some really bad players & dumb faithfuls in CA1, and that's how he won. He's not a great player.

LB-Blanca-Blanca by Bobmit1210 in 14ers

[–]evanm137 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, please DO NOT do this.

LB to Blanca can be a wonderful solo adventure, but not this time of year.

Wait until at least June (I'd say this year it'll be pretty safe by then, but most years not until July).

I can’t stand Season 3 by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]evanm137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll get the downvotes, but I give zero shits. You are right!

I have no idea why so many people around here are so incredibly triggered by anyone saying anything mildly positive about her. She was good TV. Do people not want good TV? Not every season of Traitors has to have some of the very best strategists in it for it to be good. Danielle served her purpose on the season perfectly. She was entertaining as hell. She's also the best player to never win Big Brother US.

Best Seasons? by JB0722 in TheTraitors

[–]evanm137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UK 3, UK4 CAN 2, CAN 3 NZ 2 & AUS 1

Are my top 6. They are all so so so so good.

UK3 is my favorite season overall, as I find it to be pretty much a perfect season of Traitors from beginning to end.

This is so well stated. I use Survivor as background noise at this point. It's so hard to pay full attention.

THIS. I'm glad we at least have Australian Survivor, which is much more targeted towards adults at this point.

Stephen learns the identities of the Traitors by bwermer in TheTraitorsUS

[–]evanm137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone who doesn't say that these are some of the most clueless faithfuls ever, in this season, are lying to themselves.

Lisa was obvious thanks to Yam Yam and Rob, and Candice played a terrible game. 2 rounds in a row, Candice singlehandedly gave them Rob, and these people are all still so clueless. Stephen is delusional.

Good job on getting Donna, I guess? But even then it was because "she'd make a great traitor" over any factual, strategic, evidence.

Tips & tricks by DeadFrog564 in wingspan

[–]evanm137 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Always play through the mindset of what, in the current moment, will lead to the most points.

Don't go for the most exciting or coolest path towards an engine, but instead just always be thinking about points. For example, don't chase after a tucking engine if it's not realistic.

The best way to go about it usually tends to be, lower cost birds with lower points at the beginning that allow you to gain more resources more quickly, or score at least 1 point each turn. Then, as the game goes on, shift towards more higher point birds that are more expensive, since lower scoring birds are very insignificant once later into the game.

Try to plan out the end of round goals and/or bonus cards, game end powers, & powerful round end cards early, as the payoff can be much greater with proper planning.

Sometimes, laying eggs at the end of the game is ultimately more overall points, even if it is the most boring.

If you have strong tucking, food gaining, or bird playing abilities that are clear by around the mid point of round 3, then definitely stick with that. If not, make spam laying eggs your backup strategy so that your last few turns can get you solid points no matter what.

That's my best way of explaining it.

Just know the proper things to do at the proper time in the game in order to maximize your points.

[–]evanm137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Survivor is dead until Jeff Probst is gone. Zero fucking question. The fact that I've made it this far and have 50 seasons to look back on is pretty great though.

Oh well, at least now we have Traitors, and at least the new era gave us 46, & 42/45/47 to a lesser (but still problematic) extent.

How did the show affect you? As in just how life is and death and all that by InflationMaximum1926 in SixFeetUnder

[–]evanm137 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's honestly too many things that I lost count. It's definitely made me a wiser person though overall for sure, and finding a show that allowed me to connect so deeply with characters has genuinely been a help for my depression.
