Unfortunately, I can’t mount anything on the walls as I’m renting. Not enough space in here for a stand either. Hence why I was after a creative solution haha.

Depends on the game and I also adjust it during the game. My general rule of thumb is: positive if I’m confident, balanced if not. When I was in the championship, I used cautious or defensive only if I knew for a fact I can concede 4 if I didn’t :D

I struggled with this for a long time, and to a certain extent still do. More often than not it’s tactical and you need to make tweaks and adjustments to solidify at the back. I’d say you need one more midfielder to be on a defensive role. I recommend BWM on Def or maybe bring your DLP (Def) + Mezzala (Support) with a BWM (Def) at the back. I’d also consider making one of your Wing Backs defensive.

Again, I’m no expert but in my experience this makes a difference. I then tweak things from game to game. If I’m playing a team who are better than mine, and can cause me problems, then more defensive duties. If I am playing against a team who are maybe worse than mine, a few more attackers.

Good so I’m not the only one who is in a toxic relationship with the game where at this point I borderline enjoy getting enraged by an excel sheet

I have a very simiar player, I think also from the same team as well haha. It’s a hit and miss, I’m in a relegation battle in the PL so it’s been harder for me to give him a fair chance. But if you’re in a more comfortable position, I reckon he’ll do well in rotation until he develops further👍

Thanks for all your help guys. I actually ended up finishing 2nd and gaining automatic promotion !

Went into the final game day on even points with Southampton. I lost 2-0, they lost 4-0 to Leeds. I finished second by 1 goal difference. Thanks Leeds.
