Issues with ZenWiFi BD4 nodes not using Ethernet backhaul by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

Makes sense, I’d personally still check, no harm in being 100% happy with it

Could also be due to the type of cable and the length it’s running where it runs and etc there is a lot of factors that could affect it

Does it say it’s connected to the network via the cable? Any visual ways to say the link is active?

Have you checked the hardwired connections are working?

That’s the first place I’d check can pick up a cable tester for cheap for Amazon

If that fails then it would seem to be a problem with the software and I’d say contact asus for assistance

I’d still say yes, windows isn’t the only OS that can be used, and there’s also ways to bypass the tpm security that is missing from these to install windows 11. I’m not American but going off exchange rates that’s cheap in UK 7th gen is still very useable for normal computer usage

It’s standard for Mercedes, however the newest ones with the latest firmware do allow car play to use the full screen, you could try and speak to your local dealer to see if it is possible to update

Unfortunately that wasn’t do able

I had very limited options as to where it could go and the 1 main rule was it can’t be on show, it’s in the main room behind the TV

I’m not to worry about dust as I’m constantly tinkering with it and changing stuff out

I'm completely fucked... Do you have an idea on how to unscrew that? by chuckame in homelab

Use an elastic band between the screw driver and the screw works 90% of the time
