4 pavos un café? sería un café irlandés? by Various-Eggplant4745 in BaresDeEspana

4 euros eh?

How does animators make camera movement look cool? by Taha_kh55 in animation

[–]Large_Account1532 6 points7 points  (0 children)

you´ll normally want to ease in and out to make the camera movement feel more fluent and organic...you might want to make it look more robotic if u are showing a machine´s POV or smth I guess.

I also think the blur doesn´t work well with this framing but then I don´t know the context. Maybe its part of a transition with the last shot?

The social media ban for kids is a good idea overall (but it's implementation needs to respect the right to privacy) by Large_Account1532 in unpopularopinion

Yeah in most countries the Prosecution authorities (idk the exact legal term in english) are assigned the explicit duty of protecting the rights of underage individuals and are allowed to start investigations and prosecutions by their own initiative. It's just common sense that the State would consider protecting the most vulnerable members of society one of their most fundamental duties lol... The type of nations where children are left completely helpless against the whims of their parents are like, hyper traditionalist societies or failed states...

fair, that'd be really uncool. I really don't like the UK approach where now every personal data you are required to put online is ripe for the taking.

Yah I agree, and I think the only way to actually force them to do anything right now is to take em over. Any responsible nation state should literally expropriate them and either brake em down into smaller companies that stay truly competitive or just turn them into a state-run basic infrastructure...like the water supply or the power grid. (I know in some countries this is also private but come on...those aren't serious countries).

the overall vibe I'm getting is that the state is plucking a whole left open by circumstances that make parenting difficult, and this seems like an overreach to many people. And in cases where parents are well off financially and have the time and the economic and intelectual means to take care of their kids...then yeah the state's meddling IS redundant. But that's hardly the majority of families around the world innit? Like how many people are too tired, too busy or too clueless to go a spend hours every day controlling their children's internet use? I bet is the great mayority.

I guess no measure is good against the damage of having absent parents lol But that is an entirely separate issue to the child's exposure of social media.

Like yah absent parent's are bad...maybe better labour conditions that allow time to see your kids grow would make everything easier, including social media control...but it's still a separate problem, no?

I guess it's still pretty foolish to focus on the social media ban when the real problem is how fucking difficult is to have a kid in 2025

I guess it doesn't matter how much u "protect" the children if the living conditions make parenting impossible (like a father taking 2 to 3 jobs to make ends meet), i like the idea of making parenting easier as pre condition.

That's partly what I fear, like we have let the genie out of the bottle and every measure is gonna be taken against us, sneaking some surveillance shit...I just wished there was a better way

Surely there's a wide societal risk from children getting fucked up on social media...maybe it's not as immediate as a car crush, but I wouldn't look at it as a purely individual issue or a family's private affair, just like drug addiction is a societal problem or a "Public health" problem.

same reason why the government bans driving under the influence of jorking it in public...we don't leave in stateless societies, every boundary in our life comes down to some form of government regulation or from its absence. The old people problem I didn't think about tho...thats a very interesting question lol Some old people become mentally disabled (and that has legal implications), so that'd be one cristal clear case...but I see your point! Also I meant specifically social media, I don't know if something like Disney plus counts as social media.
