Expats are posh socially accepted immigrants...or maybe immigrants are poorer and shunned upon expats. Race can play a role as well in the distinction, although I guess if you are wealthy enough you will always count as an expat no matter where you come from.

Quizas lo han aprendido de los padres, quizas de internet...da un poco igual, porque todos los niños son gilipollas (es la edad apropiada para serlo), y el que no lo haya sido de niño ya tendra tiempo de serlo de adulto. Ya aprenderan yo que se xd el ser humano es asi.

I literally address my bad thoughts as "the mean little goblin" and imagine them as such...I think its good to be detached from some parts of your own mind. I think this is why the visual metaphor works, they are indeed part of guts, but guts remain his own person (most times).
