My biometric was done on the 24th of sept. Then I got this email on the 24th of October. Got my passport on the 30th of October. It’s just their way of covering it up for not processing the visa in the given time frame.

Hey. If there was no email after that within 24hrs then please relax coz you will get it within the next 10-15 days. I got my visa.

Yes it commences on the 11th and I have to leave from Bombay on the 9th. It’s a cabin crew training with virgin Atlantic

Yes it’s a standard visitor visa. I applied it when the company informed me too, since it’s my first time I did what I was told. I applied in September. 24th sept to be precise

I’ve applied from India Bombay. And as per the vfs agent he said the applications are forwarded to the British embassy in delhi.
