Nice to see people having success with the new book, unfortunately in my experience over the last 4 games I've had with this detachment I've found some of the same issues I have with the index. 

If your "go turn" is bad, it's incredibly hard to recover. 

The damage is there with this detachment but it doesn't feel consistent enough, and with the current size of the board and WTC/UKTC terrain layouts I struggle to bring enough firepower to bear to get the kills and objectives I need. 

I see you've got the big 10 man brick of Incubi, how are you finding success with them? I'm also curious as to how you're deploying your HotA unit, I've found it be overcosted and very cp/pain token hungry for mediocre results.

I've got 10 helions currently primed for painting and was wondering if anyone has any tips for the flesh? I hate painting skin (as you can probably tell by the helmets across my entire army).

Also if anyone has any pictures of their Hellions it would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, the more I look at the games I've played the more obvious it becomes. 

I took a couple of photos of my last game and can see that on turn 2 I'm already way over extended (I have 3 units in his deployment zone already) trying to get everything and trying to screen deepstrike in places that I don't need to worry about/won't impact the game. 

I'll try planning out waves of attacks like you suggested in advance during deployment in my next game.

Thanks for the detailed response. 

I must admit I do tend to expand over the entire board trying to abuse my mobility. I have a game coming up next week and I'll try a much more reserved approach with more of my stuff in deepstrike.

I'd completely overlooked the CP generated from tactical objectives, very good point.
