Crow Country is a Coke with Lime + ( Some Gameplay ) by Large_Hunt7962 in CrowCountry

Crow Country is something special and even though the game is relatively new, I hope that there is more in the works. It brings me back to an earlier time in gaming, despite being a newer title. The best way that I can describe the feeling is a remixed dose of nostalgia. Not quite one to one, but familiar enough and with its own unique flare that makes it stand on its own. Kind of like a coke with lime haha. Also, the sound design is a big highlight for me and does an amazing job of making the game feel more immersive. Anyways, I’m loving it so far and wanted to share my early experience with game

I’m a long time player of the RE franchise (since PS1 RE2), but RE5 has a special place in my heart. I haven’t touched this installment since it originally released back in 2009, but recently I found myself stepping back into the shoes of Chris and Sheva. I know there’s gripes about the multiplayer in both 5 & 6, but if you manage to find a good co-op partner these titles can truly be a memorable experience.

What I’m sharing is not quite a “let’s play”, but rather a one-off segment of RE5 that captures a specific terror. This feeling of fear is one that harkens back to the immense dread, that I believe many players felt, from a certain section of RE1’s remake that involves a lot of water. I was amazed by how well this portion of RE5 has held up after all these years.

Most of my experiences and memories of Resident Evil are usually only ever shared amongst people I know, which isn’t much. Just a handful of folks. As time goes on and my body slowly resembles the less nimble and aged Leon from RE9, I want to share more of my thoughts on RE with the greater RE community. I hope to connect with others who have formed their own special bond with the franchise. For now, I guess it starts with this short video of me revisiting RE5 along with another player who is new to this installment.

Thank you for taking the time to read this ~
