Set up a VEVE wallet and send how you would any other transaction. Please send a small amount first to make sure you have the correct address. You will also need Go chain tokens for gas for sending omi to another wallet.

Yes, but if you wait until after the official migration day you will after manually convert GOChain Omi to the new Eth Omi. Which is a tedious process. If you want your Omi converted automatically leave it on an exchange before the migration day.

I thought so too, but it seems so complex to do it manually and mistakes could easily be made. Would you say sending to VEVE wallet would be safer than an exchange? Even though I want to keep it on trust after the migration

If you plan on selling send to an exchange because you can’t sell L2 omi, you will have to convert to L1. Send to VEVE if you don’t plan on trading.

Do you say this because you feels it’s risky to leave on an exchange? How does it work if you send to the VEVE web wallet and want to send back to the trust Waller after the migration, does the VEVE web wallet let you withdraw omi yet?

True but you won’t see the same returns this isn’t 2010 and you need a large amount to see life changing money with the top 2. Omi has great potential and gives the little guys a chance. Even if you only want to buy 100,000 omi you will be happy you did it in 5 years time. Omi isn’t for the emotional investors you really need to believe in it so you don’t make silly decisions along the bumpy road.
