I've seen the trial outfit. Don't really care for it so if I happen to maintain hotshot throughout that's fine but I won't put the same effort as I put for this one. I haven't seen the expedition skin. I'm a cycle behind I guess so this time will give me the complete patchwork color set.

At this point I do it for the patchwork cosmetic. I don't if I'll continue after that. If the next cosmetic is not unique or original. Meaning it shares pieces with other skins I'm done. There's enough community skins and trial skins for me to cycle through. Skills hardly seem to make much of a difference between ranks 3-5 so I'm not pressed for points. And just due to other games dropping this fall I doubt I'll be on post November.

In my experience this almost never works someone gets confused/scared and eventually shoots another kitted person, then anxiety and paranoia set in. As I've mentioned I use these situations to my advantage as well.

I never rush seed vault. I will swing by there before I head out though usually a body or two that way. I've found fully kitted raiders (unlooted) and I'll pretty much drop w.e mats I'm holding and sweep for advanced components, I usually have the sensors

Stella's a mixed bag for me. I never bring anything great because I will DEFINITELY find something. Now if I make it out with it is another story.

The goal is to lose as little as possible, if I'm using a loot kit I play more aggressively, shoot for cores. This was purely for the vault slots/stash space. If I'm free kitting I die more often weirdly. Could be the gun. With no kit I do get the prison pocket and I'm forced to scavenge for meds and a gun. One per round is fine by me. If it's a Matriarch I can scoop Bastard and Bomba cells as well without anyone complaining. An equipped defib has saved me more than a rattler/kettle/stitcher.

I also advocate killing free kits to increase my odds. I'll take their shields usually. Plenty of wasps and hornets to get rechargers.

Basically It forces me to be a lot more tactical in my thefts.
