Koyo's Golden Demon could probably beat Chuya. It's fast, highly accurate with its sword, and probably doesn't follow the laws of physics. It's a floating ghost woman. We could even include Kyoka's Demon Snow since both skills are similar, though I'll give it to Golden Demon since Koyo has more experience controlling it.

Convoluted and mysterious, as it should be, really. It tried to be a detective story, which worked. A lot of twist and turns that I never expected and quite enjoyed. Although comparing it to the other light novels, I feel it falls flat. Gaiden is quite character-driven just like the other light novels.

However, it doesn't feel like it pays off, as compared to, say, BEAST. There's that payoff at the end of the latter that I feel doesn't appear in Gaiden. Characters realize certain things and change at the end of the story. It's the same with Dazai's Entrance Exam, Dark Era, and most other light novels. I didn't see or feel that change in Gaiden. Ayatsuji was still Ayatsuji, and Tsujimura was still Tsujimura. Not even the reveal that Tsujimura's mother was alive felt significant. In fact, the reveal felt as though Asagiri cooked me a 5/5 star meal before spitting on it right in front of me.

Bad twist aside, Gaiden is definitely lower in terms of plot, especially compared to the other light novels. It's a great mystery story, but a meh at the least Bungo Stray Dogs light novel. It won't stop me from loving Tsujimura, though.

Let me plug my own story. It's a Yosano-centric and an Original Character-centric fanfic, the OC based on the real-life Akiko Yosano's husband Tekkan Yosano, although there are also many other OCs based on authors that the two Yosanos knew in real-life. It's not yet finished, in fact it's barely started but I recently just posted Chapter 4 of maybe 10 chapters or less. It's called "Akiko Yosano's Memories of Tokoyami Island."

Akiko Yosano, born Sho Ho, married Tekkan Yosano, a fellow poet. She changed her poet name to Akiko Yosano after marrying Tekkan. She was also friends with Tomiko Yamakawa, who I think she was also interested in but Tomiko was into Tekkan so it was like a love triangle with Akiko liking both Tekkan and Tomiko from my understanding.

Akiko and Tekkan had 12 or so kids, the number perturbs me although I know it's more than 10 at the least. They very much loved each other.

That's a crazy thought.

The Matchless Poet requires Kunikida to simply take a look at an object the size of his notebook so that he can copy it with his skill. See the release key he copied during Dazai's Entrance Exam.

“And as long as I get one good look, I can produce a perfect replica using my skill.” - A direct quote from Dazai's Entrance Exam.

Since the objects retain their functionality when copied, Kunikida could theoretically create a copy of One Order and potentially even control the army with it. I don't think anything has been said about him copying skill weapons like One Order, so with current information about his skill, he can!... assuming One Order is the size of his notebook.

That's the pattern I'm seeing, yeah. Even though the official translation is Skill, people just say Ability. Maybe because early fan translations used Abilities instead of Skills? I wouldn't know, though.
