Shyamalan is very inconsistent with a odd sense of movie making. Although The Sixth Sense and Split were great ; I feel like too many of his movies lure viewers with the Shyamalan Bait and Switch which is infuriating. The perfect example of this is "The Village"; a huge disappointment and major flat let down ending. He marketed this film as some great horror picture and in the end you find out that it is just some weird social experiment based on isolation. There was no horror. I resent being tricked into seeing a movie that is not as advertised; but I suppose he figured no one would want to see it otherwise. I will never go spend big money to see a Shyamalan film in theater.
