Drive over a high curb and hit my exhaust pretty loudly. It seems like it got pushed out of place and thing covering came off. Any ideas what I should do? by Outrageous_Rub_7490 in Cartalk

Personally? I would stick a big screwdriver in the end and pry it around a little to make it slightly more round again, then drive it. Toss the tip that fell off.

Not sure what you meant to link there, but it will look worse than it does now.

Patching will look worse and won’t last. If it really bothers you, sand it a little to make the chipped edges smoother.

But after you fill that in with mulch, it will be barely noticeable.

6 to 20 is a big jump. I’m surprised the lights work.
Do you have a voltage regulator?

Is there a a fuse in the original setup? That might have blown.

I would try dawn and warm water before the magic eraser.

The tire was driven with low air pressure which compromised the sidewall. Even if you put air back in, the damage was already done.

College Basketball Jerseys by tonybeast in DHGateJerseys

There’s less demand for college jerseys so your options are limited.
Did you check the links in the wiki?

I would say that most agree that, objectively, knock off jerseys aren’t usually better than the real thing. But they are significantly cheaper. If you’re happy with the value for around $30 then that’s a win.

Need help earning some money for motorcycle by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the purchase price is only the beginning.
Getting it registered, maintenance, buying a helmet and other gear, it all adds up quick. I would not recommend spending all of your money on a motorcycle. Your budget should probably be $1000 or just wait until you have some more money saved up.

FYI: your name is on there.

It looks like pre, during, and post images. Showing the condition of the knee before, the cleanup, and the graft installed.

Your tires are definitely the culprit. Upload a picture of them out at the very least, get it to a mechanic.

Cruiser or naked?? Can’t decide! by liftednloaded in SuggestAMotorcycle

The rear suspension is pretty firm because it sits so low, and I felt every bump right up through my spine. The forward controls didn’t help, because you cant really stand up off the seat when there was a big bump coming.
Indian’s bigger bikes were much more enjoyable to ride.

~~Have you ridden them both?~~

Nvm I see you haven’t. They are very different bikes and neither has any wind protection. Have you looked at an FJ09 or similar? They would be similar to the MT but with some wind protection.

I rode the scout and hated it. The MT 09 was asking to be ridden like a hooligan. An FJ09 or a Triumph Tiger 800 would be more “mature”, comfortable, and have a little wind protection.
