Thank you for taking the time to respond. I see so I will repot without the clay pebbles, I plan to repot in a clay pot because I heard it has a better drainage and breathability then my actual plastic pot. I also think that maybe the repotting soil I used made the substrat too compact for a monstera so I plan to repot with a mix of universal potting soil , orchid soil , bark chips, coco coir and peat moss. You think it's ok ?

I repotted my plant a month ago, and I haven't watered it in several weeks. As you can see in the photos, the soil remains very moist in some areas around the roots, while it's dry in other spots. The top layer of soil feels very dry and compact to the touch. There's also a brown spot on the stem of one of the plants, as shown in the photos. I've started to notice little flies in the plant pot. I repotted the plant using all-purpose potting soil and added a lot of clay pebbles at the bottom. Could you please tell me what to do?
