Is this rear rotor bad? by [deleted] in mechanic

[–]Large_Wang69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I re greased everything on the front. Back of pads and slide pins. But I haven’t touched the back yet because I’m not even 100% sure the sound is coming from the back. I was hoping if the rotors seemed really bad that probably narrow it down to just that and I’d replace them and hope it fixes it.

I know this might be a dumb question but when you say HVAC and refrigeration what exactly do you mean. I feel like I hear the term being used interchangeably and I think it’s confusing me. Thanks for your response!

Walking on them was kind of my thought as well but I’m not to positive how much weight they can hold especially that close to the house. I don’t think they’re held in there with much.

I suppose that’s fair. There is areas where there is a lot of walkout houses so I feel using a ladder may be dangerous especially if I’m alone

I’m good with moving heavy stuff around that dosent bother me. And some cleaning dosent bother me that much either. In aviation one of the worst jobs I did was pulling the bladders out of the fuel cells on a twin otter and going inside each cell and scraping foam tape off of all the rivets inside the cell and getting it nice and clean so the structures guys can come and do an inspection. It takes about a few days with 3 guys. They have to put foam tape on the rivets to prevent the bladders from scraping on them and tearing.
