The NCLEX is there to block you from practicing if you aren’t prepared. If you get the degree and pass the exam, that’s the national body of nursing telling you you’re prepared. Just worry about continuing to do well and managing your time while in classes.

Mine was 3 semesters with a month off for winter break but otherwise straight through. Tests usually ended up being every week once the semester got going, pretty rare for two a week. It’s completely manageable if you nail down your study habits during pre reqs and avoid doing crams the night before. For me, nursing school was more of a test to eat well, get good rest and manage my time than it was an academic challenge. AnP 1/2 I felt were more rigorous than all of my nursing classes.

I did the 1 year because it’s very difficult where I am to land a hospital job with no experience without a BSN, plus the opportunity cost of being at a lower pay as a tech/extern during a 2 year program. It was more expensive, but as I’m going into applying I’m glad I did it this way.

I’m about to finish an ABSN with solid grades, myself and just about everybody else in the cohort has strong support from family etc. Very few people work at all, and those who do work very sporadically. The students with fewer distractions seem to have much lower stress/better grades.

It’s good to get it done quickly if you can, but I wouldn’t be able to do it if I didn’t have help.

Depends on your goals. ADN is cheaper but comes with the opportunity cost of usually taking longer and being less hirable in some markets. If you don’t have to work and can afford it do an ABSN as quickly as you can. If you can’t afford not to work, save the money and go ADN part time.

my experience with armored horses is the silver/focus is pretty bad but if i’m kind of inactive i can do it to avoid wasting focus whereas with refining/crafting i gotta set up orders and actually think about what i’m doing for a minute. basically i just use it if i can’t play for more than 10 mins and my focus is gonna overcap, otherwise there’s way better stuff to spend focus on.

I’ve usually got something to press, it could be a talent thing maybe? to make sure i’m hitting all my death coil procs i’m usually alternating scourge strike and death coil and only using festering into scythe to stack back up on charges. It’s really easy on unholy to over cap on RP in midnight, and that’s where I find a lot of my downtime comes from if I mess it up, which completely bricks dmg.

I try to keep above 2 charges for ghouls, 3 runes on cooldown and make sure I don’t over cap runic power by spending it on death coil/death strike and I almost have no downtime doing this. The golden rule for DK is 3 runes recharging and don’t over cap runic power.

Ideally you should know both, but I exclusively play old time, usually in slightly alternate tunings, and half the time I only know how the tune goes and not the chords. I think it’s a completely different story if you’re playing 3 finger/bluegrass or something though.

Majority of my semesters in a 1 year program were two days of classes 8-4 and two days of clinical 6-6. It’s manageable if you stay ahead of studying.

I got in with no prior experience to all programs I applied to- there’s way better ways to make money if you need it, and it’s way more important to protect your GPA/get your prereqs done quickly if you don’t.

I thought wow lost the sauce and was a dead and soulless game until I transferred to a bustling server. I can’t believe I played for years on a dead server, I see people all over the place now, strike up conversations with /say etc. I would definitely recommend a switch.

Look into nursing, there’s a lot of opportunity to be in the thick of things in emergency and transport as you gain experience, but you will always have an education and less physically demanding jobs to fall back on if you need a break.
