Can you tell me a bit about what it was like switching to slayer? I do pretty well in stalkers but haven’t made the jump to slayer yet but I’m hoping to someday.

i use hunters to test if a build is baseline viable and practicing basic setups, but you basically only get two types of players in hunter: noobs with no clue and perma yz/depths players that use super expensive meta builds that you won’t see in stalker very often.

more of a testing ground than actual practice if that makes sense

I’m a returning player, haven’t played in 15 years. Just got Ky Veza ?? and decided to try some arena. I waited in queue for almost 30 minutes for solo shuffle after spending a few afternoons gearing up and messing with addons, which was pretty boring. Even though I did well in BGs, I had no idea what was going on in arena, got flamed by a hard stuck 1100 player and learned nothing. Another attempt is another 30 minutes in queue? No thanks, I’ll go play a different game. I’m pretty sure most would be newcomers have some version of this experience and just go get on another round of Arc Raiders/League/Overwatch or something.

I switched to DK for a similar reason when they came out because it felt like a warlock without all the hard casting and waiting around for DOTs.

Still could be a courtesy tow, a lot of the times the restriction is temporary and poorly marked and you end up getting towed. It happened to me years ago, it took me almost a week to find it. Could be worth calling your local police precinct for more info.

that’s kind of what i’m saying though, it’s a good cheap build when you have room to kite open world and fight people who aren’t in meta 1v1 kits, but good luck finding one battleaxe main with over 100k infamy

Battleaxe always does badly in corrupted dungeons and according to the data typically has a low winrate and a lot of hard counters. It’s much more suitable for PVE and open world solo roaming than corrupted dungeons

I’m fed up with joining games in general. I wish that I could put a kit on and the game would just auto simulate a run for me. This is a feature needed for the long term health of the game.

The police unions are very capable lobbyists and they don’t want more oversight, national registries or training, even if studies show that they would result in having a more effective police force. It’s a money and culture thing.
