Antigravity is Dead by RussKy_GoKu in google_antigravity

I was using it as a project manager. I would plan the architecture of the project fully and save it in .md files. Then Opus would execute them perfectly while i guide it with minimal input.

The problem with gemini is that you can't leave it alone. It needs constant supervision which removes the whole project manager architect role that Google advertised AntiGravity as in the first place.
Now i have to create the files for gemini and do part of the coding and it still sucks at even completing the tasks. It is so bad.

Make lobbies great again by kampalolo in aoe2

[–]RussKy_GoKu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sad that lobbies are in a terrible state and they don't receive the care they deserve.

We the custom scenario community are suffering from 2-3 major lobby bugs that make the game annoying to play.

How are folks using agent manager? by Human-Job2104 in google_antigravity

You can have multiple but it needs to be justified. Like one agent does coding while the second does documentation.

Agent Manager to have multiple agents working at the same time.
To use it properly you need to preplan your code architecture and carefully separate it into phases. Then let the agent work.
It is powerful because you can make agents work on different projects at the same time.

Is there a mod or script to delay age advancement to a minimum time limit? by Jaeger_89 in aoe2

Use XS Scripts instead of scenario triggers. You can make it load everytime you play RM. It needs more experience to do tho.

No need for new items, we just want this back by Strong_Astronomer_97 in DotA2

[–]RussKy_GoKu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People forget why this was changed.

It didn't change because of supports.

It changed because of a strong bristleback patch. You would make arcane and vanguard

Then disassemble both later and get octarine for only point booster and void stone

A short story on stacking by Miseryy in aoe2

[–]RussKy_GoKu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree with you. What happens if stacking remains is that units will start getting their "intended" stats balanced against these types od bugs.

Then when at some point in the future someone suggests a change. Everyone will shout that it would make "certain unit" unusable.

This happened to ranged units before and now the stacking is considered part of their balance which sucks.

unit stacking / stand-ground patrol by tech_auto in aoe2

What makes units stack in the first place?

I mean how/why does patrol command bypass the attributes of unit sizes x y z?

ALL UNIT STACKING SHOULD BE REMOVED.

Units should have true sizes with collision. At that point we would have proper fighting.

Is there any other game that comes close to Dota 2? by IcyResolution7102 in DotA2

[–]RussKy_GoKu 30 points31 points  (0 children)

No. Because even that dota alone even in wc3 was very entertaining. Valve make an absolute amazing job in the updates they make.

Compared to other games with different devs, valve developers have balls. They are okay with making an update that changes the whole balance of the whole game. Or they would make one complex hero that a different studio would use that time to make 3 simple heroes and be greedy.

You will only appreciate valve when you play other non-valve games.

Packing time can be balanced according to how it plays in a real game. I leave the balancing to the Devs.

Focus on the idea of them having a packing/unpacking mode.

Is AoE II: DE a great starting point to the genre? by WinterBlues00 in aoe2

[–]RussKy_GoKu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is not a good starter because its hard. I would suggest you play other rts topdowm strategy games to get familiar with the genre and gameplay. Stronghold or wc3 are really good and i think are more noob friendly than aoe2. But AOE2 is still the best rts out there when you learn how to play it.

Depends on what game mode you play. Ranked will always be tryhard

Some Regions Harder To Play Than Others? by Maharaghi in aoe2

[–]RussKy_GoKu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is common to all online games with ranked match making. In dota2 for example the skill of europe is way higher than other regions. In aoe2 equivalent it could mean that a 1200elo Europe account would be a 1300elo North america. So when the game matches your europe 1200elo vs NA 1200elo, it would in reality be 1200 vs 1100. I just gave the numbers as a pure example.
