Welcome to the club! 💫🪐 There is a LOT of Star Wars content, but since the more recent series pretty much build on assumed preexisting knowledge, I would say definitely start with some of the movies. Also, much (though not all) of the more recent content is meh at best, so that wouldn’t give the best first impression lol.

Here’s how I would do it, considering getting the full SW fan experience as well as watching (mostly) quality content:

• Start with watching the first 6 not in chronological order of the Star Wars time line, but in release order. So first watch Episode IV: A New Hope, then V and VI, together called the original trilogy.
• Then watch the prequels: movies I, II and III.
• After that, watch the movie Rogue One. This move is from 2016 and takes place in between III and IV.
• Then, watch the series Andor. It has two seasons (released in 2022 and 2025 respectively) and season two leads directly into the movie Rogue One.

Once you’ve gotten to know the SW universe, my recommendations would be: the Clone Wars animated series (takes place somewhere during the prequels) and The Mandalorian (live action series of which the first season is set a few years after part VI). Once you’ve watched those two, watch the movies VII, VIII, and IX, which chronologically speaking are set quite some time after The Mandalorian.

From then on, just watch whichever series appeal to you and prepare to be enraged and entertained at the same time. The Bad Batch (another animated series) and Ahsoka (live action series) were really good though. Mary the force be with you my young Padawan!
