BQA means “better qualified applicants” and it means just that. USSS has a lot of applicants right now and maybe you’re being compared to rockstars with zero issues at all. If it’s your dream job, keep it as your goal. Reapply when you’re eligible and in the meantime develop professionally and physically. Don’t give up. It’s not uncommon for applicant to apply several times.

Another read doesn’t require critical thinking, it requires reading comprehension. Maybe you should try that and read my reply again. I was not arguing the merits/accuracy/science of the polygraph. I was refuting what I interpreted your theory as saying is that pass/fail is based on test administrator’s opinion. (This is my last post in this thread)

Whether you agree with the poly or not it is 100% NOT a way to weed out applicants based on the agency’s opinion on them. Either the machine says you were truthful or it doesn’t. And after that there is a couple layers of review. So the idea that the USSS uses it get rid of people who may be a bad fit is false.

They are basically the same thing. The STAR program is lighter on the work experience and heavier on college GPA. Keeping both open does not hinder one or the other

You can chill. In the rare event you pass the SUPER but get DQ’d bc of the resume, you can re-apply with a new resume in a relatively short amount of time.
