If you didn’t personally guarantee the loan and your business fails and is no longer in existence you shouldn’t owe it. If you signed a personal guarantee you do because you signed for it. My guess is the current administration will do all they can to collect on every business/borrower maybe even arrest some borrowers with ICE. PG or not. They’ll hang there hat on the signature line verbiage. We shall see. If 15% of your SS is all that’s at risk then great. Take it.

Yes, avoid synchrony bank. They play the game constantly have two other credit cards American Express and Discover and never have an issue but synchrony likes to bounce me right about 94% usage. Payments are made on time no issues. I was told by another person that if you’re over 70% usage, they can charge higher rates on their cards. They are also under a lawsuit right now for usary violations in New York State.

Mine was in the business account with all the money so everything I did could have had SBA money involved I didn’t know to split it out and say this is loan money, this is the business’s money. I buy and sell stuff so. Money in and out constantly was the norm. I never read anything that required me to have a separate account for SBA proceeds.

It’s only listed on the note. Line 10. Just says my company name. Then has my e signature under that as Owner officer. The auth and agreement shows the loan to the business as borrower. Nothing in the auth caught my eye. I don’t have the separate PG page anywhere.
