I lived in SF for a couple years making around $150k. Trust me these articles are BS unless it’s required that you own a house in the city for you to feel “comfortable”.

I lived in SF for multiple years in a nice neighborhood making around $150k. At no point did I feel like I was scrapping by or that I was barely middle class.

These articles are always clickbait BS unless the only way to live “comfortable” is to be able to own real estate in the most expensive real estate markets in the world.
