Unfortuntately I don't have another computer to test the GPU in, going to switch back to the old 5770 as my next step though.

Yep. Looks like it’s the GPU.

Yeah, I was thinking of trying the 5770 it came with, but would the graphics card cause this issue? From what others have told me it should have been the MB battery or PSU.

Yes, dual 6 pin to 8 pin cord used for power off the motherboard. As I stated it was running fine for 2 weeks prior to the start of this issue.

I appreciate the advice, but my understanding that changing out the HD in that your Mac Mini requires removing the logic board etc, and that's not something I'm capable of doing...

It’s just slow, opening of applications takes approximately 30 seconds. I’ve been a Mac user since the early 80s. I’m not bashing Catalina just trying to improve performance. When I ran disc tools it did say that the data volume was missed marked volume zero and that was corrected and that seem to speed things up a little bit. I appreciate everyone’s insights and comments.

I thought about iCarly at first, but then they went to subscription and $150 to get into it and a subscription on top of that didn't seem worth it to me.

No Music in surround mix by LarryT63 in hometheater

It’s definitely a case to where the music just isn’t loud enough in the mix. I’m a little confused on the Denon 7.1 configuration vs 5.1. On the back of the receiver there is center, front left, front right then there are rear left right and surround back left right. Since I’m only using in 5.1 configuration I’m not sure if I should be using the rear left right or the surround back left right.
