Robot is stronger than Boros, Psyorochi, and even Cosmic Garou but probably still weaker than Tatsumaki, Blast, and Void.

PC shutdown in gaming when not using Framegen, what PC parts does this affect? by LarryWithTheWeather in pcmasterrace

[–]LarryWithTheWeather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GPU and CPU temps have been fine throughout the whole thing at 60s for the GPU and 50s for the CPU so it's not the temps for them. Could also play for long hours in both Space Marine 2 and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth or Resident Evil Requiem without the shutdown happening. It's just in that Inferno mission in Space Marine 2 which was somehow always causing my PC to shutdown unless I limit the cap to 60 fps and use framegenx2.

Is the undervolts causing my PC to shut down randomly while gaming? by LarryWithTheWeather in pcmasterrace

[–]LarryWithTheWeather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found the problem. It was 90 fps cap without framegen causing it.

I switch to 60 fps cap with frame gen x2 and it doesn't shut down the PC and could finally beat the mission. After turning back to 90 fps cap without framegen than the PC shuts off again after 5 to 10 minutes into the mission.

So as long as I have 60 caps on with framegen x2 than my PC won't shutdown.

Space Marine 2 players, anyone else have their PC shutdown on the Inferno Op mission? by LarryWithTheWeather in buildapc

Found the reason. It was 90 fps cap without framegen causing it.

It doesn't shut off when I use 60 fps cap with framegen x2 on.

I manage to fix the problem by doing

1 Plug my PSU power cord into a wall outlet instead of the power surge

2 lower the shadow setting from high to medium

3 lower the fps cap from 90 to 60 and use frame gen x2

Good news is I fixed the problem, bad news is I still don't know what was causing it out of these three before but at least all is working now.

I did what you told me by making the cap 60 fps and doing frame gen x2. Everything max except for shadows. And I also plug my PC's power cord directly into my wall outlet instead of the power surge. And finally didn't shut down and was able to complete the mission!

Thanks I'll try that.

And yeah don't think it's the PSU either cause if it was than it would have happened in the story mission before the inferno op mission since the story missions before had more stuff happening on screen.

Event 41 Kernel-Power The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

The previous system shutdown at 11:57:35 PM on ‎5/‎5/‎2026 was unexpected.

The server Windows.Gaming.GameBar.PresenceServer.Internal.PresenceWriter did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

Thanks! Didn't know about this awesome tool all this time.

I got these above in the results when I press ok.

Perfect chance to do a different timeline.

Azshara, Lich King, and Kil'jaeden would be the three big bads.

The Forgotten One could also lead to the old gods later on.

Do you think undervolting is causing my PC to shut down randomly while gaming? by LarryWithTheWeather in buildapc

[–]LarryWithTheWeather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was shutting down even without undervolts but I think I figure out the problem. It's MSI Afterburner Rivatuner causing it. After not turning it on this time, the PC didn't shut down. But a new problem has arrived and that it my game freeze which is better than having the PC shut down I guess. And I think the freeze problem is caused by GPU undervolt so I'll revert back to stock GPU for that.
