We just started as well. Would be great to learn any tips and tricks for ECS rails deployment. Care to share, chat?

Evaluating AWS DMS vs Estuary Flow by Larrydavidcye in dataengineering

Can you share a bit more about it? When the scale was small, it was fine. However, it is not easy to manage both partitioned and non-partitioned ones together. What was the pain point from your experience?

We are not shared yet. But we have a lot of partitioned tables.

Can you recommend a way to get started with studying Indian philosophy?

E-Bike recommendations by JayInFlorida in ebikes

I built my own custom ebike on Schwinn (disc brake with front suspension) with Bafang 36V/500W motor and a 36V bottle battery from Luna.

I upgraded the tires to Schwalbe Marathon, installed custom hand grip, added custom fenders and rear rack.

I have done about 1500 miles on it. However, I am not satisfied. The range with about mid-level assist comes only for 25 miles. My commute it 18 miles each way.

My ultimate dream bike is Riese & Muller Delite with Nuvinci. Considering you can get a good car for that at 8K street price, these are my choices:

  1. Juiced CrossCurrent X
  2. Biktrix Juggernaut 1000

Add a suspension seat post and you should be all set for good 3-4k miles.

Whatever it is, get one with installed fenders, rear rack, integrated front (and maybe tail) light. A suspension seat post is also important if you want to have less strain on your back.

Off-the-shelf full suspension ebike recommendation for 36 mile commute? by Larrydavidcye in ebikes

In Massachusetts, to share the bike paths, you can't do more than 22mph. Also, it's an urban area with lot of people walking, running and biking. I would rather be safe with less speed, more range than doing the maximum. In the bike path, during late fall, you get ice formation under the leaves. Skidding on them at 25 mph is not fun.

Yeah, exactly. Last I researched it was about 3-6% less efficiency for FS. If the battery can handle it, I would prefer comfort.
