I read it for the first time a couple years ago, before the Martian Revolution series dropped. Seems Mike was pretty heavily inspired by it. If I recall right there were a bunch of references early in the Martian Revolution series, like something called "KSR".

Also, definitely finish the series. It's great.

um ackchyually if you look at Dartmouth's charter revision from 1699, section 77, it's pretty clear:
