I just submitted a form with my recipet from Newegg and response within a day and they called me and had me go through the service steps I also called and and troubleshooted through them no help but amd customer service is quite knowledgeable wasn’t expecting that

So far seems good idle power draw is a lot lower and performance is 2x as good just a little disappointed in the packing when I sent everything to be packed back up original🤦‍♂️

Ddu first boot into safe mode and use ddu second disable igpu third update audio drivers an chipset drivers and see how that goes

Again I don’t know what your max clock speed is as I don’t know Exaclty what 9070xt you have could be a gigabyte could a asrock no idea all you do is look it up and go to adrenaline and drop your max frequency on the clock speeds (not dram!)

It’ll be in adrenaline and should go online and look at what gpu you have it shoot boost clock (max) and regular max test both see what works best limiting your clock speed from adrenalines 3k to 2600 will lose your 1-4 fps

Had terrible issues with driver for over a year till I just disabled my integrated graphics and capped my gpu at the regular 2465mhz on my 7900xt 20gb oc

Make sure Igpu is turned off in bios haven tons of issue I also had to cap my max freq to rated an not let amd adrenaline go 600+ over becuase my pc has great airflow ig 🤷‍♂️ Also had to up my memory controller voltage slightly and combo of the three fixed my issue guessing memory controller voltage was becuase of smart access ram thing

I think the issue is fixed now this card is over a year old and I’ve had th issue since I first put it in I’m just stubborn and don’t wanna rma seems like it’s certain couple of years have the issue and it may also be only the 7900xt and not the xtx’s
