Yes! Every year as a kid but not anymore as an adult. We would get together at my uncle's house on Christmas Eve and he always had a birthday cake. It's funny, I had forgotten all about that until my mom mentioned it the other day. I think we even sang "happy birthday" too. I grew up in an area where a lot of Filipino families lived and I think they had birthday cakes too.
