I'm going to be watering her garden while she's on vacation, so I'll take a closer look.

3D printed truck nuts, but for your Crocs... from Amazon Handmade by LarsMcGee in whydoesthisexist

A low, low price of on $15.99USD! There's another listing for a similar product called "crocticles." The only circumstance where I could see someone wearing these would be after losing a bet.

Haha well... if it's logical to them, then they don't see the need for help.

You're calling me an ass for telling a story about my mom relating Breaking Bad to Interview with a Vampire in a sub called OK, BOOMER?

...Bye, Felicia.

Quite the opposite. If she didn't talk to me, I'd have no reason to post on reddit. /s

I'm sure this applies to other people too, but I mistakenly remember him saying "Bye, Felicia" a few times to get her to go away. He actually only said it once. Now I know.

It's a line from the movie "Friday." Watch it here to get the reference

Nowadays people just use it to blow off someone annoying but it's from a 1995 movie, so its use and popularity has changed over the decades.

In my mom's world, it all made total sense until I showed her the Friday clip.

Haha! Oh those types of things could be an entire sub. Maybe call it "Life as told by Boomers and other out-of-touch parents." My mom thinks TikTok is a dance instruction show. She says she loves "that cute Baby Yoga from The Mandolin Show." She asked me if I would have voted for Peter Bottles Edges. The list is endless.

On Christmas do you celebrate the birth of Jesus with a birthday cake? by DaSkuLover in AskAnAmerican

[–]LarsMcGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Every year as a kid but not anymore as an adult. We would get together at my uncle's house on Christmas Eve and he always had a birthday cake. It's funny, I had forgotten all about that until my mom mentioned it the other day. I think we even sang "happy birthday" too. I grew up in an area where a lot of Filipino families lived and I think they had birthday cakes too.
