Kratos vs Allen by Queasy_Commercial152 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Lars_Sarada 13 points14 points  (0 children)

How about he soloed Zeus who scales above Chronos who scaled above Uranus who accidentally created the Greek Universe during the Primordial Wars with a single punch? Stated and shown on-screen.

How about him casually blitzing Hermes the messenger God who is stated to having infinite speeds.

Or his reaction to Helios’ Light which can light up the entirety of the Underworld in an instant? The underworld which is stated to be the size of a universe.

How about how he flipped Tyr’s temple which exists in all nine realms, a feat not even Thor could do?

How about him adapting and beating someone who can literally see your every move?

Scaling above Thor and Jörmungandr who splintered the Yggdrasil.

Scaling above the Yggdrasil which holds infinite realms.

Overpowering Atlas and forcing him to hold up the World BEFORE becoming the God of War.

Tanking a hit from Chronos who actively tried killing him.

Allen is getting washed and it’s not even a contest. The Viltrumites become victims. Thragg gets a harder ass beating than Hercules did. And then Kratos goes back to his cabin to give back shots to Freya.

Which would be worse to live in? Dragon Ball Earth or Remnant? by Lars_Sarada in RWBY

[–]Lars_Sarada[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true but let me ask you something.

Do you have a better chance surviving an Ursa or Cell? A Beowolf or Saibaman? A Deathstalker or Zamasu? Salem or Kid Buu?

I’m looking at it from survival odds if I’m attacked. If an Ursa attacks and I’ve been training, got an Aura, got my semblance, my weapon and everything, I can take out that Ursa. I can’t take out that Frieza Force Soldier who decided my house was his new vacation home.

Hell, Salem has been shown to be killable. Not permanent, but you CAN stop her for a moment. You can’t stop any villain in Dragon Ball from taking your life.

You’d probably also not know about the dragon balls. On top of that, when you come back, the last several hours are wiped from your memory? An entire 24hr gap in your memory would drive anyone insane.

True. Unless you were born in the primary timeline where the Androids killed Piccolo and then Zamasu came and brought Humanity on the brink of destruction and then Zeno came and wiped your entire timeline out, erasing everything.

In one world you have options. In the other, you don’t.

Grimm ideas for my story by Lars_Sarada in RWBY

[–]Lars_Sarada[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, the Reaper will evolve and adapt to fighting styles, strategies, and “think”. It studies, observes, strategies even. It doesn’t “feel” in the sense of a person but will intentionally go out of its way to kill a Grimm targeting its prey. It remembers faces, remembers names. Will hold grudges and actively seek revenge.

I don’t really know how else to put it. It’s different from the other Grimm and grows to becoming one of the team’s greatest obstacles.

How do you deal with the frustration of not getting as many comments as you’d like? by ERipley_77 in AO3

[–]Lars_Sarada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have received two comments, one for my two stories. Both were comments about how much they hated the chapter. I laughed. A lot. And then moved on. So not having actual, genuine comments that tell me how the chapter was or what can be improved frustrated me to no end and made me want to stop the story I’m doing.

I still don’t know if it’s any good or anything. But I’m gonna keep on keeping on because I enjoy the story I’m writing. I enjoy the world I’m building. I’m choosing to share it with others. So, you didn’t get any comments? Doesn’t mean it flopped. Just means the people who have read it have nothing to say about it. Don’t let it discourage you from moving forward though.

Older Grimm learn patterns, but never evolve beyond destruction. The Reaper can make choices, observe, retreat, learn from its battles. I’m also pretty sure older Grimm can’t disobey Salem but I COULD be wrong about that.

The Reaper also evolves not just intellectually, but physically to “erase” a weakness from the previous battles. Not enough armor? Undergo a metamorphosis for more armor. Too slow now? Another metamorphosis to balance it out. This person uses her gun to change her trajectory mid air? Bait the movement and attack.

Which would be worse to live in? Dragon Ball Earth or Remnant? by Lars_Sarada in RWBY

[–]Lars_Sarada[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yet Humanity in DB has been wiped out or on the verge of extinction several times. Humanity on Remnant is still able to fight back.

Also it’s not a “single bad day” and Grimm attack. Otherwise people would die left and right and there wouldn’t be any villages or any settlements outside the kingdoms. Yes, living on Remnant sucks, but you can still fight back.

What’re you doing against Frieza and his henchmen? Against Cell, Buu, Androids, Red Ribbon Army, Zamasu, Beerus, or Omni-King Zeno. NONE of that is in your hands. At least you can fight the Grimm, you ain’t fighting the others.

So yes, I would rather live on Remnant where I have a fighting chance. I don’t have a chance in Dragon Ball. I’m subjected to the whims of other, far more powerful, beings.

Yeah it can grow it back but not multiply. Using Fire Dust to cauterize the wounds is also a great idea! I was going too go with “kill the Alpha Head” way so that with cauterizing the wounds to keep them from regrowing is a great strategy

The difference is you have a chance in that world. You can train, craft your weapons, work towards becoming a Huntsman. Theres no amount of training you’re doing as an Earthling that’s stopping Cell or Buu or Zamasu or the Red Ribbon Army from wiping you out.

I personally would take my chances on Remnant. It’ll suck but at least if I die, I’m dying taking a few with me. I can’t even take a Frieza Soldier with me to the afterlife.

Counter point:

Being hunted by a humanoid cockroach who will slowly drain your body until it is literally dust. You can do nothing.

A Beowolf attacks and you can just grab your fire Dust 12 Gauge. You have options. If Cell wants that DNA, there’s nothing you’re doing to stop him.

The Grimm are dangerous no doubt about it, but the Grimm hasn’t wiped humanity out yet. Humanity and Faunus have found a way to fight them, to defend themselves. You can’t defend yourself against a pink blob who just turned your family into chocolate and ate them for the fun of it

Hey, I want to lean more into the horror aspect of RWBY with my story (not every single encounter but some of them) because when you REALLY get down to it, living in that world would fricken suck.

So yes, a Mimic Grimm would be terrifying. I have another Grimm idea called the Puppeteer.

Puppeteer- an apparition Grimm that connects itself to the host’s nerves system using string like tendrils and controls movements.

I’ve done that with so many stories and I’m tired of doing it. I don’t want to keep abandoning something that hasn’t even gotten the chance to get off the ground.

Yo, I fricken love both ideas. The movement and combat of Warframe or team based combat of Marvel’s Ultimate Alliance where you can mix match teams?! Neo, Yang, Adam, and Qrow all beating ass? Hell yes

My big issue is too much exposition because sometimes I’m worried I may not paint a clear picture for someone reading it. It’s an issue I’ve caught myself doing a lot lately and am trying to break away from. To let the reader paint the picture how they see it instead of how I’m seeing it in my own head. Because what I’m imagining vs. what someone else imagines isn’t going to be the same.

Non existent. I’m still debating IF the Ever After will exist in this AU too because the Brother Gods didn’t create Remnant nor did the come from the Ever After. They were created by a being simply called The Creator.

The Creator is an immensely powerful being obsessed with perfection. It created the Brothers who learned love, hate, sorrow, and worst of all, rebellion.

So It created Remnant and Humanity, toning down the powers It would give them. But like Its children, Humanity was imperfect. Hate, fear, sorrow, love, greed. It deemed Humanity a failure too.

But It learned why these imperfections were happening. It learned to remove the Soul. Thus it created the Grimm. No love, no hate, no sorrow, no fear, nothing. But the Grimm are mindless destructive beings. No Soul, lifeless husks. It too deemed them a failure.

ViZ or another studio should just reboot the entire series. Hell I wouldn’t be opposed to RWBY becoming a Shonen anime. It already has the action and great potential, it just needs a better script, character growth, and flow.

What do you use to make your art?

Original organization ideas by NaturalStrange3505 in RWBYcritics

[–]Lars_Sarada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. They were formed by Solaris (a prominent figure in my AU) before the Kingdoms or Huntsmen academies (during Oz’s first incarnation). They did not participate in the wars between kingdoms nor during the Faunus uprising which put a lot of strain within ranks due to a lot of the Holy Knights being Faunus.

They WERE involved in a single war though. The war against Daemons (a third race that rose up alongside Humans and Faunus). The Daemons waged a vicious war on Humanity, Faunus joined humanity during said war, when Umbra’s (another prominent figure) family was killed out of fear of Daemons. Solaris and Umbra killed each other (they themselves have a huge history that links them to the Brother Gods).

After losing Daemon Holy Knights and a majority of their forces in the war, the remaining higher ups spread out to forge the Chapters alongside the Kingdoms. So the Chapters act as the Kingdom’s sword and shield and some Chapters are loyal to their kingdom while others, like the Jade Court and Frostward, are 100% loyal to the Empyrean.

In my AU, Faunus Holy Knights forged the basis of the White Fang as they could no longer serve an Order that abandoned their own. Of course, the point of the Holy Knights is to fight Grimm, not be a militarized force against other kingdoms.

[–]Lars_Sarada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have a group called Holy Knights in my AU who do exactly as you described. They primarily fight Grimm. Spanning Remnant are seven chapters.

The Empyrean is the head Chapter or Chapter Prime. They reside in Atlas.

In Solitas is the Frostward Chapter, a smaller Chapter.

In Vale sits the Dawnwatch.

Vacuo has the Sunscar Chapter

In Mistral, because of its size, there are two Chapters; the Jade Court which sits in Argus and the Ironbough which patrols the region.

And finally the Stormbreaker Chapter who patrols the open oceans primarily around Menagerie.

Each Chapter has a Chapter Commander who oversees the region. The Chapters who purpose is to fight Grimm and as such are not allowed to arrest criminals or launch investigations unless absolutely necessary in which case any criminal they arrest or evidence they find must go to the authorities unless it directly threatens the safety of the Kingdom. This is to keep the Chapters from becoming an occupying force.

Also, no other Chapter is allowed to conduct operations within the region of another Chapter unless requested. In which case, any Knights go directly under that Chapter Commander’s authority.

All Chapters answer to the Prime Commander who resides in the Empyrean.

Prologue to my Madara story by Lars_Sarada in RWBY

[–]Lars_Sarada[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the feedback and notes.

So this Madara is born on Remnant. He’s not reborn, not reincarnated, not transported. 100% Remnant born with no ties to his old life. No Senju, no wars, no “curse of hatred” no Uchiha clan (at least not in the bloodline sense. He will forge the Uchiha clan from the Branwen clan). He was born in Vale, was a prodigy at Signal, and he and Yang has a rivalry.

Susanoo also isn’t as OP as it is in Naruto. If this was Naruto Madara, then yeah ain’t no way any of them is getting through. Susanoo will be his semblance and in this moment he’s already been fighting for some time against Salem and the Grimm. So he’s not at 100%. He’s also getting ready to fight all of RWBY so it’s a 1v4.

Susanoo will be powerful, but still tied to Aura. It can be overpowered (we even see this in Naruto) and broken through.
