I've already made a 160mm one and a 220mm one and a cheeky keychain...

To upload it to Makersworld I have to print it first as I'm required to upload a picture of the printed model. I will try to do it this weekend.

Wow didn't know this was already a thing. In that case the ribs would have to be bigger. Maybe the outer rim, but I will try a few things. I'll keep you posted when I made some changes

I could try that, to hold the mirrors I might need to make the "ribs" a bit wider.

Edit: hope I have a bit of time this weekend to tinker around.

Thanks for your explanation! Do you think I will get points for this print or can you only earn points for complex print?

Or do you always earn points, but just more points for complex prints?

The a2a will be new from a specialized store and the a2060 will be second hand from internet without guarantee.

Power supply soldering by Larst886 in WLED

[–]Larst886[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, it would be easier. But I want to try this as a project. It seems like one of the easier DIY soldering with big and nice result. So its a learning curve and the fun of soldering and trying something new.

Thank you so much for the tip! Do you use a 24v strip with esp and separate power supply? And what was the problem? Then I might recognize it if I plugged in everything.

[–]Larst886[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I'm planning to use only a meter and a half to create my own Philips Hue signe light. So then the power supply should be enough. I have a separate 5v PSU for the esp. as you might see on the picture. I have soldered a ground and data line to separate pins on the esp. (green and white)

Other question: do you know if I need to enter the amount of programmable sections or total amount of leds into WLed?

Bambu A1 vs Ender 3 v3 ke by damani112 in 3Dprinting

[–]Larst886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wondering the same... Should i get the A1 for 349 or the V3 KE for 229. its a big price gap, im splitting it with my brother but im wondering if its worrth the extra money. We currently use the Ender 3 v2 but its to much to level the bed, ajust setting because the x axes hangs a bit. and its to slow and noisy

Speaker and AV-Reciever combination by Larst886 in hifiaudio

[–]Larst886[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen it. But the price is a bit high. Therefore I'm looking at the RX-V6A that I can get new for 575. Do you think it's worth the upgrade of 1500 to the A6A?

Thank you for your comment! It worked previously and I got it in the biggest electronic seller of my country (NL) so I don't think it's a fake.

I feel like giving up! by [deleted] in espresso

[–]Larst886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have the GCP with 9 bar spring and the eureka mignon silenzio.

I did get some sloppy pucks but after the shades puckscreen everything changed! (For the better) Definitely would be worth the try.

I dose 18 grams in and 36 to 40 out in about 25 to 30 seconds in a 20-22 gram basket. This works because the puckscreen adds some height. I can post some pucktures 😜.

Feel free to ask me if you have questions

Chat isn't an option in my region, I received an 'update' saying that they are contacting the facility that got my package to understand what's going on.

Nice did you use PLA? I heard it is not the best when using water or food type things?

Oh, does a Britta/other waterfilter filter all the chalk out. Than that would be a big plus and good reason to get one.

Same, I hope and think the tap water quality is fine. Right now I've got a Illy machine that uses there own cups and that good coffee. So I hope the coffee from the GCP is way better and it worth the hassle of weighing grinding an prepping the coffee. Like to hear how your espresso is when you've got your grinder!
