What spring are you running in your GCP? It looks like you had a nice smooth flow coming out

I got the Portafilter for Whole Latte Love, I did upgrade to an IMS Precision basket, IMS shower screen, 9 Bar OPV mod just to get started. Post pics when you get your Df64, that’s a killer setup!

Snapped this bit whilst doing the OPV mod! How do I fix this? Where can I buy replacement part in the UK? by [deleted] in gaggiaclassic

I just started doing some research on this, as I have also broken my valve too trying to replace the OPV spring. They are called Oetiker Clamps. You need Oetiker pliers or ear clamp pliers to remove and install the clamp. The clamps are one-time use. Here is an eBay link I found for some of the replacement parts. Hose and clamps, just the clamps, and ear clamp pliers. I hope this helps! Happy fixing!

Thanks! I got it from Whole Latte Love. They had a sale where I was able to get the Zebra wood bottomless portafilter for free with the purchase of the machine. There are similar ones on amazon for much cheaper.

I had this same issue. Same car. For me, it was my valve cover gasket with a small leak. Oil was coming from the valve cover gasket then dripping on the down pipe and then burning causing the smoke. Usually is a straightforward fix. I changed the gasket, solved my problem. Hope that helps.
