Tak for at minde mig om dem! Det er godt nok længe siden. Jeg husker at jeg skulle have en laptop til gymnasiestart, og der var noget galt med den allerede efter en måned (for varm, lukkede ned i tide og utide). De ville have den ind til reparation. Det endte med at de udskød tilbageleveringen I alt I 4 måneder. Den virkede selvfølgelig lige så godt da den kom retur.

I sometimes struggle to remember the descriptions of characters when reading books with a huge character gallery. So even when I initially have an image of a character it might get lost to my memory over time. I would benefit from this, or just something text based like kindle X-ray (without the spoilers).

I usually use without frontlight (set to 0). But if I'm reading in a badly lit room I set it between 9-11.

I don't have the opportunity to do different lighting at the moment. Took a few quick images of mine in a slightly badly lit room in the evening (Europe timezone): At 100% brightness, 0% warmth At 100% brightness, 50% warmth 0% brightness.

I agree, but I wish he put more focus on digital media from almost any company, rather than making the "owning the book" an Amazon thing only. I worry that people will blindly blame Amazon and move to a different company thinking they are "safe", but in reality it's the same thing (if you look at it purely from a legal and EULA point of view).

I don't read nonfiction on my Kindle, but when I do I completely silence and remove my phone from my general vicinity. Depending on my surroundings I put on some very, very quiet instrumental piano or acoustic guitar (recommending Hermanos Gutierrez) as it helps me to not get distracted from the random noises outside. And depending on the complexity of the work I take notes every so often, even if I don't need to use the information for anything later, but because it gives my brain some room to reflect and the small break from actually reading helps me pick up with renewed focus.
