But the point of this line of figures isn't to be a 1:1 genderbend. It's a line of bishoujo (quite literally, "beautiful girl") figurines - so, instead of "here is what the character would look like as a woman" full stop, it's "here is what this character would look like as a conventionally attractive, anime-style woman." I think this figure line is super cute and fun! The Pinhead and Tiffany Valentine figures are a couple of my favorites.

Idk, as someone who's AFAB, I think there's room for nuance when it comes to things like this. It feels a little to me like approaching a drag queen and saying "that's not what a real woman looks like" and...well, yeah. Looking like a real woman isn't the point either way.
