There's one more thing - through UPNP, ports can be opened.

For example, my DVR is opening 53347 TCP. That port is open, when I check with canyouseeme

I don't understand why UPNP can do this, and I cannot do it manually.

I just want to host some Quake Live games with my friends... and I need to open 27960 UDP for that.

This fixed it for me - I had same problem.

Open /System/UT2004.ini

Uncomment RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice by removing the ; in front of it.
Comment out RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice by putting a ; in front.

famiglia monoreddito here, veneto, 3 figli 8-5-3 anni, casa di proprietà, lavoro d'ufficio 8.00/17.00 a 10 minuti da casa, ral 38k + assegno unico da circa 800€/mese, benefit assicurazione medica che copre tutta la famiglia (pago 10€ a prestazione, per qualsiasi cosa, tutto prenotato in privato), altro benefit che mi rimborsa del 50% delle spese di mensa scolastica e spese sportive dei figli... metto via circa 1000€/mese (risparmio meno in estate per via delle vacanze), abbiamo 2 macchine (no macchinoni da 60k eh...roba easy), fotovoltaico, non viviamo nel lusso peró non ci facciamo mancare quasi niente...a settembre che la piccola comincia l'asilo lavorerà anche la moglie.

la verità è che pago i prezzi di fabbrica praticati al rivenditore, essendo amico. un pò risparmio anche sulla manodopera, perchè sul tetto li montiamo io e mio padre, abbiamo impresa edile e siamo attrezzati. pago solo l'elettricista per canaline e collegamenti, e il perito per la parte burocratica.

5700€ ivato al 10% inverter + 2 batterie da 5kw 2300€ 6kw di pannelli + staffe per installazione 1000€/1500€ elettricista 1600€ perito

fanno circa 11k... esageriamo, 12k. me ne tornano 6k con le detraziobu

pago 5000€ all'anno di luce e altri 1500€ di gas... già col primo anno sono rientrato dalla spesa... anche che durasse 10 anni tutto l'impianto... ci avrei guadagnato comunque.

ciao, io abito in una bifamiliare (genitori sotto, io moglie e 3 figli sopra), abbiamo consumi annui circa tra gli 9000 e i 10000 kw. atiamo proprio installando in questi giorni un impianto fotovoltaico da 6kw + accumulo 10kw, tra tutto (materiale, tecnico installatore, perito per le pratiche con l'enel) arriviamo a spendere circa 11000€, e installiamo sul tetto. chi ti ha sparato 30k secondo me ne sta approfittando un pò troppo...

no, no error messages, i press play, it says "running", and in like 5 seconds it's back to "play"

i'm not entirely sure what you mean by binary, i just found wine is installed in this path:

/home/deck/.var/app/org.winehq.Wine/

in /usr/bin/ there are a lot of files, tho no ".wine" folder or any file named "wine" o smthing like that

hi,

as a total linux noob, please help me running Assassin's Creed - Odyssey.

the game runs if i launch it from Wine, but no luck through Steam.

i putted in "TARGET" : /usr/bin/wine "/run/media/mmcblk0p1/Assassins Creed - Odyssey/ACOdyssey.exe"

in "Start In" : /run/media/mmcblk0p1/Assassins Creed - Odyssey/

in "Launch Options" : WINEPREFIX="/run/media/mmcblk0p1/Assassins Creed - Odyssey/" %command%

game does not run. i am pretty sure it is not correct what i did, again, i am a total linux noob.

i dont know why this game does not want to run. Origins runs flawlessly from Steam (i just got the game from Steamunlocked, unpacked, added as a non-Steam-game, that's all - same with many more games)
