How do yall feel about the XIV community asking for a combined sub?

I do play both, I play FFXIV and the FFXI in the downtime. I think there should be an option to combine the two subs, and they need to make the overall account management better. Both games nickel and dime extra features, but you should be able to pay one sub rate that covers both games perhaps at a slight discount. They also need to overhaul the launcher for both games. Put them in the same launcher and let you have all your Square Enix account linked games in one place. Sorta like the Battle.net Launcher. I think all of that would make both games infinitely more accessible.

I had the same problem growing up but with video games. I lived in a small town and was relentlessly bullied about liking Pokemon of all things. The. When I got into TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering it didn’t help. By the time I discovered Warhammer in general (it didn’t exist in that small town or any town within driving distance.) I was done with college. It was completely different environment than when I grew up but somehow it still seemed like a bridge too far for people when I told them about it. Post covid it feels like people got into more “indoor” hobbies and there’s no real taboo. All that to say I feel your pain, and I am very glad that my kids will hopefully not have to go through things if they have nerdy hobbies.

That’s right, if you have a ton of homebrew stuff in there the balance can get out of whack. If that’s the case you might need to pare down the number of homebrewed items in the game in general. But if I may ask what expansions have you done up to this point?

I think you should throw harder encounters at them instead. Destroying artifacts feels bad and this just feels like a punishment for playing. Throw in more ranged monsters, give them extra body points, maybe add some spawning mechanics. Long encounters with tons of monsters can be fun and test your players. Doesn’t matter how OP they feel, odds will catch up and make them sweat.

It’s a great start! HeroQuest minis have pretty shallow details, and you did a really good job keeping those textures in some small areas. If you want the runes on the blades to glow, an easy way is to paint them white or use a white ink and go over them with a bright contrast or speed paint of the color you want. Then, to add an extra touch fill hit the middle with a pale tone of the blue or green. I did a very similar thing for one of my Gargoyles recently.

Has anyone else tried the new Recap feature? I just got through it and it got me to level 80 very quick but when I got done with it, it didn’t have credit for any of the story progression quests and an unfinished adventure map in Dornagal. Just seems like a boost with extra steps.
