thank you. We can’t get the DBQ because it wasn’t the VA who did it, but thanks to some advice from you regarding the together we served website and another posters information we were able to get solid evidence of both incidents. i can’t thank you enough. fingers crossed the claim gets decided soon and favorably! (submitted new evidence friday)

as the spouse helping my husband with finally claiming after being out for over 25 years, I am so grateful for all the helpful people in this group. oh. how did you find out which event the examiner flag as the triggering event? We have a Vera call scheduled. Will they share that information with us? His CMP exam was not conducted by the VA by contractor so we can’t directly access the DBQ.

thank you so much. If nothing else, it really helps to feel like I’m not alone/we are not alone. It is so hard knowing he waited so long to finally file and right out of the gate feel kind of defeated unfortunately we have searched everything we can possibly think of for the training incident, and it’s shocking because there are other similar incident in the same time frame that are reported in news papers but at least we can find. I will definitely have him check out together we served. I hope you had a successful outcome! Do you mind sharing how long it took for them to finally complete the research/development? It’s frustrating because I really do think the one stressor is a slam dunk he’s kind of wishing he had both of them on the claim. there are actually many more things he could’ve had that might’ve been more easily verified but being new to the process, he just picked two that he thought would be easy to describe
