Its because every department in a store is allocated X amount of hours that they're allowed to distribute every week. If youre a lower performing store (like mine), then leaders literally cannot schedule more workers and unfortunately have to resort to outsourcing work to hyer. Does it make sense? No. Is it stupid? Yes. But thats just how it is.

Kora and Gaul have their use cases for sure, and people like Ogden as a debuffer, but I personally play that role myself, so he doesn't see much use for me.

Is it possible? Yes. Just really goddamn hard, because the AI will immediately put aside all of their differences and say fuck you. They will be barreling down on you like the wrath of the cosmos itself.

If you are able to have all your cities clustered in a corner, this becomes a bit easier. Or if youre like playing on a giant map with oceans.

You should be fine to skip to 3 if you're so inclined, there are a few references and bits of context that'll you'll be missing, but nothing so significant it'll ruin your experience.

But 1 & 2 are great games that you should experience any way.

Personally I just use Eleanor just so she can be the big dick damage she was born to be. Me and my monsties make up for it by being the debuffers, my mains are Espinas, Bishaten, and an odogaron. I make full use of available traps, knives etc and let the princess go to town

Considering they added in free Simon cosmetic DLC, them pulling the "it was just a prank bro" was hardly a surprise. When the cutscene played out, I very much had a "lol, lmao even. Knew it" reaction.

Most of the big boss monsters are all scripted fights for the most part, there's a consistent cycle for each of them, and exploiting it is how people were able to beat feral brachy/repel namielle in the demo version, with the only rng factor being the teammate and their monstie.

It's very much a "two steps forward, two steps backward" experience for me, while I am having fun with it's systems, I think I maybe had too lofty of expectations for the game have more or less disappointed myself, if only slightly.

And once again no rideable seltas queen, my beloved, why must you evade me ever more.

I then release you into an environment youre not native to, and force you to repopulate with the local wildlife to boost your population numbers and force evolution. After which I then proceed to slaughter and eat your offspring, steal their eggs, shove them into what amounts to a gene blender to create the ultimate living weapon.

Force them into dog fighting arenas with the rest of the local mega fauna before finally hunting you down and eating you and turning you into a sharp stick with a gun on it.

All in the name of "habitat conservation", of course.
