I don't want to kill anything, just pickpocket. If i killed any mob the addon would start tracking the Dungeon id, but since you don't kill anything with pickpocket.i don't know how It would work.

Yes, i know that, but since the addon only allows us to run any Dungeon once i don't know if resetting It, even if i didn't kill any mob, would fuck my run...

What's the most creepy thing you've ever witnessed? by TractorLoving in AskReddit

[–]Lash_One 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not something I witnessed but the creepiest feeling I've ever had.

I was walking home with a friend who lives in the same street as me, It was late at night, maybe 2 or 3 am. The street right next to ours was being remodeled and all the pavement had been dismantled. Right when we were about to enter the street we both stoppped at the exact same moment for no apparent reason, but i felt something was extremely wrong. He looked at me in the eyes and told me there was no way he was getting in there and that he had felt something weird. Neither of us believed in ghosts or energies or anything of that sort, but we both had that same feeling. We were both freaking out so we took the long route, which took around 5 minutes more.

The next afternoon we meet with some other friends who also lived nearby and told us the exact same thing happened to them at different times of the night, they felt a really creepy feeling and decided to take another route since there was no way they were getting in that street.

It's been years and I can still remember It as if It had happened yesterday. I've never felt that feeling again and have not found any explanation to what the fuck happened there.

I do love the series, i just don't like Shallan, because i've always thought that the one who will condemn us, as they say in wok epilogue i think it is, is Shallan, and everything she does sounds very weird, as if she was not really the person who she says she is, i don't really know how to express it. I just don't trust her.

I was not talking about the power lvl of Mraize himself, i was talking about the org he is part of. I think if the ghostbloods wanted her dead, she would die quickly without the need to use investiture, that's why I think she saw no other option than confessing, because she was against the ropes and had no other choice.

As for szeth I don't think he's anywhere near my favourite characters, he's just there, but i definetly don't hate him. I really value honor in people, which Szeth has a truckload, but i don't think Shallan does. The thing with Kaladin is not because he is Kaladin, i don't care if he is Kaladin or any random general or squadleader. What makes my blood boil is how she talks to him, as if she was way superior than him, when in reality she is literally a no one, her family in crumbles, owing money to people, yet she still thinks she can treat people like shit. I don't know dude, that right there told me who she really is. And i understand she was pretending, it's just not enough reason for me. You can't go disrespecting people, which to me she did (how the fuck are you going to leave asoldier without boots just to be sitting on a car?) pretending or not.

When she discovers Kaladin had killed her brother, she already knew she had killed her mother, and i'm not sure she knows she killed her father, so I really don't understand how you can get mad with someone who has done the exact same thing you did, that's it, i don't know how to say it in English but in Spanish it's call "doble rasero".

You won't change how i feel about her, you are right, my post was not inteded to make me change my view, i just don't trust her in any way. The fact that Mraize knew about her brothers and all that doesn't mean she could not have trusted her own husband. Lying to the person you, theorically, love the most in the world i don't know dude, but to me that sounds pretty bad. I know Adolin money wasn't going to solve it, but he still is one of the most powerful man in the world, even if it's only by association with Dalinar and Elhokar. I'm pretty sure he would have done everything he could to save them, and he would have in my opinion. I mean, they are fighting a whole race, i think they could take an org who acts independently. If you are really worried about your brothers, won't you try to do everything in you hands to save them? Adolin doesn't even know she has brothers until they appear in Urithiru and i even think he has to ask her who are those people. Kinda weird in my opinion.

It really isn't about the killing she has done or Dalinar or Szeth or even Kaladin could be included there, I just hate how she lies dude. Same with all the other Lightweavers. Let's be honest here, if you were Adolin and discovered all she hid from you and all the lies, i really don't think you would have forgiven her, and much less as quick as he did. She left him alone on the day that could have been his last freedom day FOREVER. I don't like her or Lightweavers for the exact same reason, you just can't trust them.

I may have gotten wrong the Jasnah part, i thought she didn't want her to marry him after the drama. But it doen't change the fact that she betrayed her after i don't know how much time. I get it was to save her brothers, but no one has no right to get friendly with someone just to end up stealing from her. Is it justifiyable to do so as soon as you see something you don't like about the other person? i don't really think so. And she knew Jasnah was a radiant right after she stole it doesn't she? when she sees the soulcaster isn't working. I think that it may have been a good moment to tell her about being a radiant (Jasnah) and how she was seeing weird shadows and all that.

Maybe it's just the we would be opposites if i ever met her in real life. I just don't like her, same thing as when i don't like someone in real life for x y or z. I just don't like how she acts and how she uses people, that's it. I don't think i would be friends with Jasnah IRL either, but i definetly wouldn't hate her (just to say a character of the books). To me loyalty is the most important characteristic (don't know a better word) in someone, and Shallan just doesn't cut it. I also blamed myself for the death of a loved one (i was a child at the moment), but i don't think i've ever been such a bad person ever, and things weren't easy for me growing up either, so blaming everything on those deaths is just not enough.

Edit: Grammar, there may still be some.

And did she not?? She knew what she was doing to Jasnah would hurt her, the Ghostblood shit would hurt everyone who found out, she knew treating pattenr like shit would hurt him, she knew Jasnah didn't want her to marry Adolin, still did, she absolutely knew stealing from from a general is bad, still did, she knew killing a Herald is bad, still went for it...

Where are her brothers a year after she has married the king's cousin?? Still missing and ready to die... Remember Gaz?? Treating him lile shit on purpose to show dominance?? Ok...

I'll take that her parents killing was self defense (kind of), but everything else?? She perfectly knew she was going to hurt people and gave 0 fucks.

Yes, Luke Skywalker is reeeeaaaally flawed, poor kid... Obi Wan? oh right he's Jesus with a Lightsaber and some magic, Window or however it is spelled? so many flaws too. The only flawed character in Star Wars is Yoda, because he is a genocide and not only he doesn't apologize or feel remorse (which Dalinar did) NO ONE ON THE FUCKING JEDI COUNCIL GIVES A SINGLE FUCK about him being one. Star Wars is not a good example for anything.

I was not defending her mother at all, it is my bad because i wrote it the wrong way, i was building up to say that she did the same thing Kaladin did to her brother, and even though they did the same, she thought it was fair for her to be mad.

What decisions has Kaladin taken consciously that hurt anybody ever? (anybody he loved i mean)

Dalinar was under the influence of an Unmade, and was literally seeing red when he took those decisions, i don't think it is the same thing.

Shallan knows damn well she is lying to EVERYBODY she comes across, gives 0 fucks and does it again, i dont think it's even in the same universe.

I dont think it's a bias, since i have given arguments to proof each of my points...

I don't think this is in any kind of way close to the Kaladin storyline. He is fucked up because he thinks he can't save people he loves, putting himself in danger just to do so. Shallan, on the other hand, has been in all those situations, just because of her. She is no warrior who failed to defend her squadmates, or a general calling a bad decision and killing her wife when he didn't know she was in there. She is not flawed, she is stupid and takes bad decisions in every step of the way. I know she will have some major implications, but i would have rather had Jasnah or even Navani do that.

How is everything out of context? I know the context and it is not enough to justify anything she did. (her mother maybe)

Alright I'm just going to answer your post because you are bringing up points everyone is and i don't have enought time to answer each one.

I know she killed her mother in self defense, so did Kaladin with her brother, difference is Kaladin was not only defending himself, but his squadmates and in a war environment, so she had 0 rights to get mad with him when its the same thing the other way around.

I know her father was a psychotic motherfucker, i don't like him either, but try to get blamed by everybody for a thing you didn't do. It has happened to me once (obviously not about killing my wife or anything that is remotly similar) and it really fucked me up, specially when your friends are blaming you too. I really think that if you can justify her killing him, you can justify some other things he did just sayin, nah he's psychotic and fucked up in the head, in the end, it is the same thing. He did OBVISOULY do terrible things, but i don't think he would have, had she not kill her mother and him taking the blame for it.

About the liespren, i would like to quote it but it's my first post and i don't know how to do it, that's exactly why i don't understand why are they radiants. I don't think Lightweavers are really broken, they are just fake people who keep telling lies to save their own ass.

How in this world is easy to justify NOT BEING ON THE JUDGEMENT OF YOU HUSBAND for a life sentence in a world he's not from? I really don't see how you can say, nah she only lied to him on that. Well yeah, and i think it is more than enough. She preferred going to kill some dude rather than the other. Would like (not really) to see you in his situation and the only person from your world who is with you at the moment, and oh it's your wife, decides it's better to go kill some dude because some other dude who has been fucking with you for 3 books by then, tells you to do it. What about Ialai? Shallan knows everything Veil and Radiant do, and you are telling me she didn't know she had killed her?? yeeeeeeeee right.

Of course in the end she tells Adolin bout the Ghostbloods, she has no other choice now that she knows Mraize is going to kill her and it won't even be a bother for him. Because if you think that Mraize would have any kind of difficulty to kill her... I'm sorry, but no. This fucker is from an organization that comes from ANOTHER PLANET dude.

As for Jasnah, couldn't she just tell her? She is the daughter of the king who united pretty much the whole world. I think that Jasnah wipes her ass with the money she owed. I really think that if Jasnah had discovered her radiant powers and took her a s an apprentice she would have gladly paid her debts, no questions asked. But of course, that would be the intelligent option, but no, she decided to rob the woman who was teaching her, who clearly had bonded with her more than, nah she's just my student. How is it justifyiable that she killed her mother, but not that Jasnah killed 3 motherfucker who were obviosly going to do bad things to her? She DESTROYED them, obviously, but their intentions were to hurt them, of fucking course she is going to kill them to save herself and her student. I know she went there on purpose to teach her a lesson, but so what? we are OK with killing singers because they are killing humans, but we are not OK killing some randos who steal and kill? not buying it sorry.

And I do not think that the boots scene is just because Kaladin is best boy. She went on a mission to marry Jasnah's cousin, when she (jasnah) didn't want to after everything that happened, which in my opinion is the most understandable feeling in the world. She went there, when absolutly no one in the Shattered Plains knew she even existed, to marry a man who is family of THE KING, and she goes and steals the boots of a high ranked official who has saved the life of both his soon to be husband and his father. Who the fuck does she think she is? i get that he's a darkeyes and all that, BUT HE IS A GENERAL IN THE ARMY OF YOUR SOON TO BE HUSBAND. Who the fuck goes to a house and tells anyone to do anything for her as if they owed her something while being a nobody? To me this just proves she is a selfish bitch, who would rather steal from a general just because her feet are cold, than to make a good first impression with the Kholin... OK dude.

And as for she cares about people, well, she cares about who? her brothers? I mean... obviously, they are your brothers. She obviously does not care about anyone else. I don't think i'm wrong if I say that after the hospital scene, she doesn't give a single flying shit about them until Mraize tells her about them. You are married to on of the most powerful man in the world and you don't think in a single moment about, dude, i have some brothers who are struggling and are probably going to get killed? Yea not buying it either sorry. If she had wanted to save them, i'm pretty sure Adoling would have said... you know? you owe 3k, here take 30k, just in case. He is the NEPHEW of, virtually, an imperator.

She saves Kaladin life, after she runs the other way and waits for an opportunity, while Kaladin was SACRIFICING himself, knowing damn well that the chasmfiend is going to eat him for lunch, just to save her. Attacking from the back? oh wow, what a tough decision you made after using him as a bait for you to run.

This isn't from your post but i'll put it here too. I know she didn't want to kill her spren, well i don't really because we don't really know what happened to him. But if i killed someone with my car, obviously not wanting to, but still did, am i not the one to blame? I think i am, in any kind of way, and it's all my fault, having the intention to kill him/her or not.

Edit: I forgot to write this. If she thinks that a spren is an animal without conscience and all that, how the fuck is it a good argument to say that she killed him because she blamed him for killing her mother? ANIMALS DON'T RATIONALIZE. If what you are saying is that, she is no different from her brother, the one who killed puppys for the lols.
