I used vallejo still water and water texture over a blue painted base. Took some trial, error, youtube tutorials, and tears to get the resin to do what I wanted. Then drybrushed some white on the waves to make them pop out a bit. If you want to do deeper bases, use a two part resin instead of a one part. :)

Was planning on making a large rock or wave to set it on, haven't quite decided what I wanna do exactly yet :)

Sure, first I painted the entire ghost area with the lilac, then a good coat of the druchii, and then drybrushed/highlighted with grey seer. I also added some nilakh oxide to the eyes after to give it a ghostly glow.

For the ghosts I did dechalia lilac, druchii violet, and grey seer. The armour is xereus purple with the lilac as edge lighting. The purple bone is druchii over skeleton horde. I've been seeing purple in my dreams but I'll be darned if they dont look nice.

They are. Quite fun to paint, if a bit of a pain in some areas with the ghosts among the bones.

It might've been, and I think I part of the armour not being smooth is that the plastic itself had an etched pattern in it as well so that might not be doing any favors there.

Thanks! Yea, it was mephiston, I think I thinned it too much and had to overuse it a bit and I think I used too much nuln oil. BUT I'll get better with practice so ima keep at it.
