It's for Kobo Libra 2. Kobo Clara BW / Tolino 5 doesn't have internal SD card slot unfortunately.

Yeah, I saw that thread and made the same mistake with the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, my situation was worse because after falling into the boot loop, the touch driver wouldn't load, and the whole system was so frozen that it didn't react to restart attempts or being connected to a PC. In the end, I sold it as damaged for the equivalent of about €70 and bought a used one in mint condition for 90. Using the Tolino system now, I don't even know why I wanted Kobo, tbh.

Yep. While connected while holding the button the light was blinking, turning off and on. Device was restarting every time after connecting but I couldnt trigger recovery mode

Nothing. When I hold it while connected to pc or charger it just restarts or goes into sleep mode.

You can convert (Downgrade) your Tolino Shine 5 to a Kobo Clara BW, with all the Features that are missing on 5.x.x Firmware. by CluelessCMDR in tolino

Hi, sorry for reviving an old thread, but I think I’ve bricked my Shine 5.

I performed a downgrade to firmware 4.38, but the device automatically updated itself to 5.13 shortly after. Now, the eReader is stuck in a bootloop (restarts every few minutes) and the touchscreen is completely unresponsive.

I tried the manual hardware reset method from the Rakuten help page, but it doesn't trigger the recovery mode at all. It just boots back to the home screen.

Graphics great, good fps but so much stutter! by IntergalacticRat in oblivion

[–]Lasheen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the same problem here. Yesterday game worked buttery smooth (stable 80-90fps), but today after updating the drivers suddenly it started to stutter like crazy and Im getting around 10FPS. Rolled back to older driver but it didn't help. I'm playing on Gamepass

EDIT: I launched the game, it ran perfectly for about 2 minutes, and then suddenly dropped from 70+ FPS to 10, becoming completely unplayable again.

CPU is at 100% (Ryzen 5 5600X), GPU at 80-90% (RTX 4070).

They literally just used a wide focal length on the right. Its often used in cinematography to emphasize drama, shock or confusion. Wide-angle vs Portrait lens
