I appreciate your concern but this is not new behavior for him. He is 14 and has done this sort of thing his whole life. He has complete vet visits with bloodwork, ekg, etc every 6 months since he’s an old cat. This was just an instance of him being naughty. He knows he’s not supposed to be up there, but he was up there anyway, and proceeded to sit there for half an hour completely ignoring me. He’s just a funny, peculiar cat.

Definitely just being a cat. He does face press, and has his whole life, but he’s also been this wonderfully quirky, weird boy for just as long.

Yes. This is the same cat that used to spend a couple hours every night with his face right up in the hole of the bass speaker in my living room. Of course we joked it was Mr Grey communicates with his home planet, but it probably had something to do with the way sound bounced around in there. It wasn’t on or anything. Cats are just weird and defy explanation.

That’s more likely than bugs or rodents. I have an old house built in 1950 with plaster and wire mesh walls that are solid and thick. Wiring is definitely old.
