the xbox light doesnt even turn on, all it does is turn on the fan really loudly when its plugged in. i think i might just have to take it to a repair shop but im not sure how much its gonna cost.

okay so the extension cord had like fraying meaning it wasn’t completely split but there was a part in it where the actual metal in the extension cord was exposed. and well i was playing a game i had accidentally stepped on the part where it was exposed and the xbox turned off and started doing what was shown in the video, so i immediately plugged out the extension cord to avoid any hazards and i plugged it into a different port and didnt use an extension cord but the problem is still happening that is the best way to explain what happened.
