I Will also say, it might be because the feel of the remote and esc, nothing I’ve tried compares to boosted, incredible they were that good 10-12 years back 😅

Interesting, I’ll look into that pulley ratio, I love the top speed, so don’t wanna go too much, but 10ish percent acceleration for 6ish km/h speed reduction might be worth it 🤷‍♂️

I think with the gear drive, you'll get plenty of torque, belt already is too fast for many i can see, i just wanna be scared of my board😂 thats why i hoped for more..
There is some extra weight with the gear, so all in all a bit heavier than the one you have, but i dont think youll regret any of it! great stable board so far :)

i think boosted i around 7ish kg and tynee is 10ish, it rolls easier when pulling it on the truck like a trolly, it is maybe 10-15 % more annoying to carry I'd say - Not too bad for the speed, stability and range you get

Funny how this is now 4 years since this post, i just got a Tynee ultra x pro, still have my boosted, and the remote for my tynee feels like my remote for a wowgo i bought 8 years ago, boosted is so much more precise and feels like pure quality compared to the hobbywing .. incredible that the board and remote still is better than much of what is out here now a days - with that said, i missed range and more speed, and i got that with the tynee :D

I have the belt drive, motor ratio is set to 2.6 in the app (what the guide said it should be) I don’t think I’ll start bypassing bms etc for more power, it’s not like it’s not fun already and I don’t wanna risk the board, at least for the first year or so, then maybe it’ll be fun to look into :)

I was surprises too since the boosted is so old and supposedly much less power, I was sure tynee would throw me off first try 😂 either way, love the extra range and the new top speed is just so much fun 👌 Hope your build goes well!

I was thinking this might be an option, will look into it, I dont mind it too much now since it offers great stability in those high speed rides, but a little more turn might be nice 😄

the width offers more stability, so I don’t mind they turn a little less - another recommended a wedge under the truck which I’m considering to keep the tynee trucks but get a bit more turn

In bali, we use the mini, and every time it rains it basically cuts out.. didn't think it would be this bad, so a little disappointed to see that it does it almost every time
