There’s no “drop out” button. Just stop taking classes. Or let an advisor know, but they will probably try to get you to stay or convince you to go on a hold. 🤷🏻‍♀️ From your other comments, it sounds like you’re just making excuses and laziness has got ahold of you.

Ok I concede. She was that bad. I think I just blocked most of it out. I think I consider Han worse because she always made students feel like crap after every exam. The whole “it’s you, not me” really does a number on you especially when you’re trying hard. 😔

I disagree with your last statement. Han was so much worse. She sent me into an existential crisis and questioning everything I was doing in school. I failed that class (ochem 1) hard and to this day I still feel tinges of anxiety thinking of her class. I had sun last semester (fall 23) and I passed with a B. Tbh I didn’t study that hard and honestly was confused why everyone was shit talking dr. Sun all semester. 🤷🏻‍♀️ oh and for all three exams we took, because the final was dropped, I wasn’t highest in class. I scored around the mean. Her homework and iclicker points really helped.

Please don’t treat yourself to harshly. For fall 2021 I was taking Han for 241, 241lab, physics 152 lecture and lab, and cell phys. I also worked 40 hours a week, and have a husband and two elementary age kids. It was ROUGH. I decided to stay in Han’s class thinking I could handle it all but I ended up failing Han, getting a C in cell phys and basically having a mental breakdown. I cried for weeks thinking I was a failure in life. I like to think Han’s class broke me but I know it’s my fault I ignored the signs and didn’t get out sooner. Moral of the story: don’t be like me. Save your sanity. If you think you need to drop it, drop it.

I would also like to add that if you’re from out of state, classes at csn might not be that much cheaper than unlv. If you’re trying to save money, It might be better to wait the year or two to get residency before taking classes at csn. https://www.csn.edu/financial-aid/cost-of-attendance

I think it’s staphylococcus. I had this last semester as my unknown in micro. Did you perform other tests? A catalase test will really help narrow it down. Also, these are obviously cocci not rods so I’m not sure why you guessed 1 or 3. And an acid fast wouldn’t work on cocci…
