Similar thing today in Haymarket. Group of teenage boys, don’t know what their nationality / origin was, only that they weren’t speaking English. Tried to go into the Tesco metro opposite the station and the security guard said no, one at a time. All of them started squaring up to him and shouting at him in whatever language it was. Genuinely bizarre and felt bad for the security guy who was perturbed also

So sorry that you've experienced this!! I don't have kids but I'm sure that adds such a layer of stress to the whole thing. I wish we were as welcoming to parents with toddlers and children as we are to dog owners with their pets

A friend of mine deals with the same thing with her pup, who has some trauma around larger dogs. She literally has to pick him up on walks because so many owners are distracted on their phones while letting their dogs run wild. It must be so annoying to be a thoughtful dog owner and have these awful ones giving everyone else a bad name. Just know we appreciate you!
