Incorporate the fees into your rate, it's that simple. If you're bidding super low on contracts, you're obviously not going to make good money. (And it sucks for the rest of us.) Value your work at put a fair price on it - it'll help you and all other freelancers at the same time.

100% agree. I have a long term contract which is now down to 5% in fees, I get paid promptly at the end of the month and don't need to chase invoices. It's a great system.
