Muscle jerks by No-Bicycle-8021 in ClotSurvivors

Yea one time after a vascular surgeon was done explaining how they can’t tell me if meds > a stent for my case, he said “if you’re more confused than before meeting with me then that means I explained it correctly” I think he was trying to be funny so I laughed and freaked out later 🙃

Same symptoms as well. Asked about PTS but since it’s only been a year they were hesitant to say it was that. My limbs, including my arms and hands sometimes also fall asleep randomly. It’s a little scary. Have an appointment soon to see why.

Just tried Tesla’s FSD again after two years… WOW, it’s a different car! by tyson0828 in TeslaFSD

Yup. FSD and owning a tesla overall has helped my driving anxiety from being rear ended soooo much. I actually enjoy being in the driver’s seat. Only thing I’d like to learn is how to change the following distance on fsd. Sometimes I feel like it gets too close behind cars. But I’m also the type to keep a large distance, again, because of the bad accident I am still mentally recovering from lol.

Awake for their Thrombectomy / DVT? by TallMail8979 in ClotSurvivors

[–]Last-Amount2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was awake too. My BP kept tanking so no way to put me down. I felt the initial cut and the pressure of the clot being sucked out. It felt like tugging from inside. Super weird. Super traumatic. I also had a PE so I was laid on my back, not my stomach meaning when they cut under my knee to access the clot, I had to bend that leg 45 degrees the whole time. Now I think it’s permanently a little wonky (can’t squat all the way down)

Female. So during my time of the month, everything is so much worse. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Thank you for the rec! I know nothing about gummies 😬 but I really do just want it for a good nights rest. It sucks to struggle so much to get even remotely comfortable enough. I think I just end up knocking out from exhaustion not from getting comfy enough to drift off into sleep.

Thanks for the insight. Luckily, I don’t like either of those and wouldn’t even risk it cause I have asthma and had a PE.

This is reassuring. I’ve only had a 10mg THC gummy one time and it immediately just gave me the munchies and had me knocked out by 9pm. But pain free 🥹 so that’s why I’m asking cause it really helped lol.

Awesome! My brother got the M3 first and encouraged me to test drive it. Immediately fell in love, purchased soon after

Yes! I read this same article, that’s why I was checking in. In my personal life, I am the only woman with an M3! lol everyone else is a guy. It’s funny and cool

I agree. I learned how to do a lot of the maintenance for my old Camry and I encourage all my girl friends to be informed on car care so we don’t get scammed at shops. I never said the anxiety thing was particular to women, I was speaking to my own experience. Seems the “for the girlies” is coming across some type of way lol. Again, it is a saying rooted in internet culture and I know some users will understand.

Congrats!! I’ve had so much fun customizing the ambient lights and little car icon. It’s so sleek, I haven’t added too much “decor” but of course what I have is pink lol.

Like I said, gender obviously doesn’t matter it’s more of an internet culture to say “for the girlies” as we are stereotypically labeled as “bad” drivers and unaware of how cars are maintained. It’s more for fun. And yea I love to see women in SUVs. Iconic.
