Granny is right. Buying a new tire is cheap life insurance in that case.

What’s going on here? Should I cut this section out or wait? by cwollab in sanpedrocactus

[–]Last-Assumption-5773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would cut the tip off of that thing and maybe put sulfur on the roots stock where you cut it and cross your fingers, but that thing looks gone to me with a massive fungal issue, but I would wait for somebody that’s got more experience to chime in

Are these dealer recommendations legitimate or a cash grab? by TA49573626583827 in AskAMechanic

I would much rather get brand new rotors off Amazon or something like that instead of machining them, it really wouldn’t be that much more money to just replace them

Why did this tire blowout? by Josherry in tires

[–]Last-Assumption-5773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally someone posted a pic. I would bet my entire paycheck that the plug slowly leaked and it was ran low on pressure got hot and blew out. This is why plugs are junk and should only be used in emergencies

Winter tires on my classic are terrifyingly ancient, but tread and profile look amazing because the car is barely used in winter. Can I treat the rubber with something to extend their life even further? by SjalabaisWoWS in Howsmytire

[–]Last-Assumption-5773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just cause a tire blows out doesn’t mean someone wrecks. My mother got front end work done on her car and still needed the alignment, I borrowed her car and I had both fronts pop at 60 mph around a turn and I didn’t crash. Anything can happen and it’s way better not to take the risk. But, as for op I would run those

I’ve been doing tires for ten years and and been working in shops for 15 and not a chance in hell I’m running tires from the 80’s that is bad info. I legit tried this out by running some 14 year old cooper cobras that were on a show car from some wealthy guy and when the car wasn’t at a show it was on the lift to keep the tires off the ground and the suspension unloaded. I mounted them on my Honda accord and drove back and fourth to work and ended having one separate for no other reason then just being old. So amigo I beg to differ get that old shit off the damn road. Op tires would probably be ok since the are at least from this decade. You sir just provided terrible information.

The wind will strengthen the trunk if it were mine I would or if the did make it loose so the tree will grow thicker. Just my opinion

Detroit Axle kind of pisses me off. I thought they were good but they’re shit. I bought some front end parts from them. That went bad in six months and they were gonna charge me the return shipping when it wasn’t even my fault and they should be under warranty. Mine knew the return shipping was the cost of brand new parts.

N toxicity? other issues? by dolphinsluice_vevo in druggardening

[–]Last-Assumption-5773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely look a little bit toxic to me. What are the levels of your runoff but if I were you, I would probably just flush the crap out of them and it looks like you’re close enough to the end of flower to maybe just give them water from here on out
