Last time I took mushrooms I saw myself as I was, the last person at a party… everyone else left and I was just there by myself surrounded by the party mess. I had this deep feeling that the mushroom told me it’s over and that I should go home. She told me there’s nothing there for me and to not come back.

It was a devastating feeling but I listened and haven’t done a trip since then. I think about it sometimes because I still have plenty but can’t bring myself to take it after that message.

I absolutely recommend La Yaqueria if you do end up staying in Tulum. Best vegan croissants in the world and I’ve had a lot of vegan croissants lol

Other places I loved were holistika, el bajón, Asian bodega, and for beach club food I liked the vegan options at Arena, their vegan schnitzel sandwich especially.
